Exactly. When I go with my 4x110 setup is all about open space, carving low and doing lots of gazelles and lions while leaning more, crossed backwards closed lions are a pleasure. Also pushing while slaloming with both feet to generate lots of speed. Definitely feels more like skiing when it comes to that. It demands a lot more from your ankles that's for sure.

Totally agree, in particular this is my preferred setup to go around my town and surroundings, full of not really skatable surfaces (European style). You can have more fun where it is smooth, you can cruise, and you know you can get through most crappy roads you encounter. So if I want to explore some place I never went to (town + country-side), I know I will have fun with them whatever happens. I am cautious with steep downhill though, because at some point it gets unstable. I save my CJ carbons only for this frame, because it is super hard to find a stiff enough replacement as you said.

I love my NR110's for distance and city skating! I am riding some Bont Avengers on them, and it's absolutely the most amazing set up ever! They fit so tight with the frame, and the performance is UNBELIEVABLE. I bought a second set as a back up, as they are now discontinued.

I've had my 110s for around a year now and what I've found is that long distance in these will rip it out of you after a few miles. They take alot to get up to speed. I'll agree 100% about the open tennis court environments for these frames, but just know that for long distance, you're gonna feel it.

4110 are awsome for distance but if you see a skatepark or flatland space on the way you can have a lot fun. I realy feel bad skating advanced frames if you are not advanced enough for advanced frames.
