This was a different approach on the body swap scenario. ML hates FL and doesn't believe her when she tells him that his mom abuses her. They agree to divorce when his childhood sweetheart returns to China. The FL runs to save ML when a car is about to hit him but they are both hit and the body swap takes place. Ml then finds out just how vile his mother is and how badly she treated his wife. He also gets to experience just how awful his childhood sweetheart is and experiences her tricks firsthand. I appreciated the different storyline for a change.
What a pleasant change of storyline with the soul swapping of the Ml and Fl with the Ml experiencing the Fl's mistreatment and experiences walking in her shoes! I loved how the Ml remembered how badly he treated the Fl and saw his mother and Yurou's true evil and cruel character plus how evil her family was to her. I liked that the Ml changed his attitude and treated the Fl with respect and care.Ww.

If you don't respect yourself, no one else will either. I think the ML/FL did very well with the body swapping. ML in particular did a great job. Hope to see them together in other dramas. The acting in general was good. But the long suffering FL plot is frustrating. Spoilers: 5 years of neglect from ML and abuse/torture from MIL - I can't see how any love could survive that. MIL should be sent to jail. Horrible families. But FL's character is such a doormat, abused by everyone, gives her family money whenever they demand it, "because you can never repay the debt of being born", used and mistreated by everyone. FL wants to rescue her brother who only wants money from FL and offers FL to scum to pay off his debt. Allows MIL to torture her and doesn't leave?? Still cares for the ML who hated her but then who thinks if he just says "he misunderstood" enough times, everything should be ok? Yikes. I just wish the FL wasn't so naive to the point of stupidity. Her protests that she wants to continue with getting a divorce feel a bit pouty and only a plot device. This gets really annoying for me. MIL gets a fever and FL (in ML's body) carries her to the hospital. This woman tortured you for 5 years. And that's all the ML lead can say to his mother near the end, telling her not to bully his wife because FL saved the MIL and somehow that's going to be the turning point for MIL to be nice??! UMM - 5 YEARS of abuse??? And, Stabby knife of forgiveness. Yes, ML blocks a knife, and FL "can't leave" him. Then, within 2 minutes of end, ML runs after FL pulls out the old wedding rings, says let's start over, then FL gets all coy/smiley/happy. ML then says FL is going to give him a fat baby boy and apparently they're going to live happily ever after....?? Followed by big hug. I think what frustrated me is that there was no punishment for anybody and although the ML got to experience (briefly) what the FL lead went through, he didn't actually *do* much. FL didn't have much growth or character development. She was basically a victim for most of it. Actors did well.
The heroine was a bit weak for me. But I got a kick out of heroine and hero swapping bodies. Some of it was funny. Of course, she ends up with the former scumbag husband, the hero ml. Typical.But he did change for the better, though.🤷♀️ I hate that the rival and nemesises didn't get their just due. What's wrong with this picture!🫤

Why struggle a lot to make the mother inlaw accept the female lead? It’s enough if you tell that she is the original heir of the Jiang’s. The money hungry mother inlaw will automatically accept her and even wash her feet if needed.

I’m sorry, actually I’m not sorry, this was just bad! I was going into this cause I like the perspective change and I’ve seen one where it was so comedic that I could forgive ML. But no ML was a scum and his family was a scum. Maybe if FL had a backbone I would support her decision at the end, but she doesn’t and should’ve left with the SML. I do admit maybe he wasn’t causing the harm, but like the harm his family was doing and for him to ignore any signs or anything of his wife just shows how scum he is. I say watch it if you need a new story other than the same 1000 copies we probably see.
