Man…I needed to see this. Perfect timing. She started reaching out and things seemed to be going well, too well. We met up at the lake, which was her suggestion. That was 10 days ago, and haven’t heard from her since. Not even on my birthday, which surprised me. I was in no contact, and did not reach out to her on her birthday, so I’m thinking she’s just returning the snub. I’m hoping the silence is confusion on her part. For her to have shown so many positive signs getting closer to me, and then to disappear is maddening, but this video helped me to understand what may be going on in her head. Thanks Clay.

Hey clay, Went 2 months no contact then she reached out asking all these questions about me and then said she misses me and my kids. I messaged back 5 hours later saying hope shes well and to be honest i miss her too, and that maybe we could catch up sometime. She then said that would be cool 🥰. Then later that night i said hey hope you had a good day, hey are you free 1 night this weekend to catch up? That was 3 days ago. Just tonight i got a text from her saying, sorry im busy this weekend! Hope you had a good day :). Im not messaging back unless i hear from her first! And it will have to be something substantial!! I feel like she was checking in on me to see if im still available!? Is this the right thing to do or should i reach out?!
I have had this same behaviour. But I just ignore it now even if we did get back together in future I don’t think it would feel the same to much water under the bridge now
Agreed... leading up to and following our breakup, my ex became a completely different person. She went wild with this sleazeball of a guy (he's cheating on her and she doesn't even care) and she was incredibly mean/cold to me. She displayed zero communication skills during the last month of our relationship. Just knowing that she was capable of this behavior has made me completely lose feelings for her... I'm at the confused stage now. It's scary when you think you know someone and they end up becoming a completely different person. I can't picture ever being with this woman again. My concern is that this will possibly create trust issues for me in any future relationship I may have.

my ex lost feelings for me when we were together bc i was super clingy and he felt like he was suffocated and had no space. he came back 10 months later saying he misses me. over text he was so lovey. then we hang out and he felt weird. i was not clingy with him at all. i respected his space and wasn't all over him or anything. he told me he felt weird and hasn't talked to me much since. the next day i tried texting him asking if everything is ok and he was like ehhh kind of but then stopped responding. haven't heard from him in like 5 days now. he is avoidant and i dont want him to think i am clingy so i unforunately cant use the parking garage method or it will cause him to pull away more. just waiting for him to come back again.. maybe he was scared seeing how much i have changed and gotten my life together. thanks for the video!

Hi Clay. My ex and I started texting everyday for over 5 weeks, she initiates all the time, she also has several emotional personal struggles and career struggles. I kinda said something that got her offended i apologized and she didnt answer me. Today is the first day in 5 weeks she stopped texting. She has a tendency to shut off when it is too much for her. We also met almost every week in that 5 weeks. I am just worried she may be pulling away for good as I have told her before that if she needs space from me or wants to deal with stuff alone i can give her the space. This is the first time she is breaking the pattern of checking in daily. I am not initiating contact as i don't want to be pushy and needy. But have to admit this worries me.

This is a little more of a question about the same issue, but what about the pull away/disappearance after THEY ask you if you've thought about getting back together, and you tell them you're open to the possibility?
You piece of crap scammers are like fleas. I swear you're everywhere. "I know a magic man" bs is old. Y'all need to do something productive with your lives.
Here's the thing, if you said you're open to it, there's not really anything wrong with that. It's definitely more them, than you, so best thing to do imo is to not overthink it. Try not to become anxious yourself

I have no idea why he's doing this. I don't ask him to do it he does it because he wants. He texts, I answer nicely, he disappears; he texts, I reply nicely, he disappears...I texted him friendly, he replied, faded and disappeared. He came back weeks later, all emotional, I replied nicely, not acknowledging the emotional part, he disappeared...I sent him a funny text...he saw it and didn't reply...I'm tired. To me, it means he will not come back. I lost

Mine acted interested and then disappeared and her reasoning is she said her love for me just isn’t there. But she does care? Starting to think after nearly a year I am wasting my time!
I did the same with my ex, but she was cold and distant and told me she needed time for herself. I still love her.
After a month of no contact, my ex messaged me on all of my social media accounts, and texted me, do you miss me and your best friend? Which led me to think she may have been feeling emotional, we were together for six years and best friends. We never were disloyal, I do want to be with her, it's been like a month in a couple days and we do kind of small talk I guess, but the other night she was really emotional and called me the next day twice and I was busy so I couldn't talk. Now I really would like to talk to her and reconnect with her

In long term relationships there is a point you reach when you really decide if it's what you want for the rest of your lives ;-)

she told me yesterday that it was real soo idk i feel like shes just as confused as i am even though we have both told each other we love each other and hooked up but i think shes still very insecure about herself idk im trying too keep my head leveled and stay patient and understanding i love her and want to keep things fun and light hearted for the both of us. Even though i got really desperate or needy clingy yesterday i think thats why its good im not bothering her right now just letting us do our own thing again for now. We had a rought toxic ending on both parts so were working on our bond and trust again. But i think things are slowly becoming a little better everyday whenever were together from now on i wanna be able to just have fun with her and enjoy our time together .

Hello Clay i would like to ask you about my story with my ex gf the last time we talked its on messenger and she friendzoned me she said lets be friends after she blocked me and for 1st time in that relationship i started no contact rule and she reaches out 2 times to me on Facebook but not messaged me yet she unblocked me on few days stalking me or see what photos i posted who liked it do i meeting someone else idk i just tell it from my point of view but why she blocked me after 3 days again and for 2nd time again unblocked me for 3 days and blocked again what this signs means is she scared to reach out to me because i will maybe block her or something else or i am the one who need to reach out to her so she giving me that chances unblocking me for forgiveness
I was in NO for 3 months and my ex and I finally started texting. Eventually he told me he missed me and we decided to meet up. When we met up we talked about everything, he apologized, told me he missed me and that he didn’t like his life without me in it. He said he was willing to work to get me back. Things felt right and we also had sex. The next day we texted a bit and he told me “we should probably ease back into this instead of just rushing”. I told him I agreed and that I wasn’t rushing. I have not heard from him and it’s been 4 days. I’m soooooo confused and so hurt. What do I do?
