How to filter and organize Yahoo Email?
Did you know that you can filter certain incoming Yahoo emails to move directly to specific folders once they hit your inbox?
* Click or tap on the gear located in the top right corner of the Yahoo! Mail home screen.
* Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
* Click or tap on Filters located within the left-hand sidebar of the Settings popup window.
* Click or tap on the Add button located top-center of the Settings popup window.
* Enter a filter name in the textbox located on top of the Add Filter popup window.
* Enter filter criteria just below the filter name textbox within the Add Filter popup window.
* Select or create destination folder from the drop-down list located along the bottom of the Add
Filter popup window.

In no way am I trying to criticize you or tell you how to produce any of your informative videos. My comment is about the music that is in the background as you give verbal instructions. The video on "How To Filter & Organize Yahoo Email." I had difficulty concentrating on your verbal instructions. The volume of the music was loud in the background. I had difficulty concentrating on the verbal instructions with the music playing in the background. My question is, why do you choose to have music in the background as you give verbal instructions? Do you know how to mass save email contacts. My sons PTA sends mass emails with 72 cc contacts and I’d love to save them to a contact list. Thank you for this video. Very clear, easy and to the point. You keep our attention with you and your graphics 🙏🏾❤️

Will the older ones go in the box or only the new emails after creation ? I also need to get rid of past emails or organize them
06:07 Move Existing Emails to New Folder - You should have already created the folder during the time you were working with the filter. Also, you can continue creating new folders for specific emails and you can find and move them using the same method. Hope this helps!
thank you for this but when I try to send something to a folder I already created via the filter method, the folder doesn't show as an option. Is there a reason for a folder not showing up?
If you cannot see your folders in Yahoo!, it is possible that you need to click the triangular arrow that points to the word Folders in the left column of the screen.

Hi, great turorial. My emails are automatically going into archive before I read them. Im told to go to 'Settings', and 'File' and change the auto archive setting but I can't find 'File' under the Settings wheel. Where am I going wrong?
