at the start of the video you had 3.8vram at the end of resizing you still had 3.8 vram, does this program optimized something?
What an amazing addon. Please add the option "analyze collection". Since we have thousands of objects inside a collection. Cannot go one by one manually.
mine for some reason aintworking
Would be really nice if it worked. I get riddled with errors in larger scenes. FormatSwap addon doesn't have doesn't have anything like the Adaptive Image Resize as far as I know, but it actually works.
does this work with eevee? or is it just cycles?
Video acts as a tutorial to help save vram
Looks inside
Ad for an addon
Been using this for two weeks now and it’s a huge stress saver! I only have a basic rig with 8gb vram and I run out of vram all the time on my scenes.
For me, Rendering crashes and slow renders have been really well mitigated by this add on.
Is it worth it?? You should've used it many times till now? I have the same rig
You have an amazing channel & you will soon have 100k subs. Save this comment.
I feel like this is how lods work in games but i could be wrong
Depends on the game. In some, LOD reduces textures AND number of polygons in distant objects. In other games, it's one or the other.
Games also decrease polygon size for far away objects. If a character is so far away you can barely see them, you can get away with quake 1 levels of polygons.
i must be stupid caus ehtis shit aint adaptive
why do you talk like that
Does this work for m1 Mac's
Maybe, but maybe not cuz most addons use Nvidia tech and nvidia gpu are the go to for cycles
@@deeptobhattacharyya3249 No, most add-ons do not use "NVidia Tech". That is completely wrong. The only part of Blender that uses "NVidia Tech" is the rendering. And even that depends on what API you set up.
Does it work
does it increase render times?
