Nice clip, but a couple of errors. The little window you're pointing to at 2:08 is not the light meter, but the focusing patch for the rangefinder. The light meter is the little round window between the words Konica and Hexanon on the front of the lens. That's where the CdS cell is. Thanks to this location, it takes into consideration whatever filter you have mounted on your lens. The other thing is that not all rangefinders have parallax control (2:15). Rangefinders focusing by means of two superimposed images is not parallax control. The latter is a shift of the entire image frame slightly inwards, toward the lens, as you focus closer. The numbers to which you align the AUTO indication are called Guide Numbers (GN), they correspond the the power of the flash units you may be using on this camera. There's more. Read the Instruction manual to find out how this camera works.
I've seen them working in good condition online for about 50 to 60 bucks sometimes I've seen them for over 120 so that's pretty cool .thanks for watch the video
Yeah it's the glue plus the foam they use back in the day just degrades overtime but check out my video where I replace the seals works great just finished shooting the Roll of black and white and now I'm shooting a roll of color and I'm going to upload two videos on one on black and white one color coming soon
The numbers on the ring closest to the camera are flash guide numbers. The numbers 14/45 in green are for the Konica Flashgun. Other flashes with different guide numbers can be used as long as the guide number is set on the scale. The range scale is restricted depending on the guide no being used.
thanks for the effort and sharing. so this camera's exposure mechanism is totally automatic. the only opportunity to change exposure is either through the asa dial or by using neutral density filters? other than those two, the camera, based on the amount of light it reads, will set the f stop and shutter speed. there is no way to manually change either the shutter speed of the f/stop? again, thanks for sharing. thumbs up.
Hi I found one at value village for 9.99 works great and thanks for the guide to repair the light sealing as mine was also gunky! i wonder if all C35s are like this maybe due to the glue ageing?
I've just picked one of these up today for about $5, it's in really nice condition. All I need to do is test it. Great video as always

Good, someone already pointed this out. I can go back to surfing.
Is there a way to calibrate the rangefinder focusing..?

Cool👍 I hope about it
konica offered the (auto-up) adaptor attachment,to allow closer focus than the approx 1 meter without.
