I still hear Binh coughing; it is not good. Does he have Tuberculosis (TB)?
Tuberculosis (TB) is a serious illness that mainly affects the lungs. It is caused by bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB can spread when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or sings, releasing tiny droplets with the bacteria into the air. Another person can then breathe in these droplets, leading to infection. 1. Stages of TB Infection:
Primary TB Infection: During the primary infection, immune system cells capture the TB germs. Most people don’t have symptoms at this stage, but some may experience flu-like symptoms such as low fever, tiredness, and cough.
Latent TB Infection: After the primary infection, the immune system builds a wall around the TB germs in lung tissue. There are no symptoms during this stage.
Active TB Disease: Active TB disease occurs when the immune system can’t control the infection. Symptoms include persistent cough, coughing up blood or mucus, chest pain, fever, chills, night sweats, weight loss, and fatigue. TB can also affect other parts of the body (extrapulmonary TB), causing similar symptoms.
2. Risk Factors:
People with weakened immune systems are at higher risk of catching TB.
TB spreads easily in crowded conditions.
3. Diagnosis and Treatment:
Diagnosis involves physical examination, skin tests, blood tests, and imaging (such as CT scans).
Antibiotics are used to treat TB, but drug-resistant forms can be harder to treat.
4. Prevention:
BCG vaccine is used to prevent TB, especially in children.
Proper hygiene, avoiding large gatherings, and maintaining good ventilation can help prevent transmission.
Remember that if you suspect someone has TB, seeking medical attention promptly is crucial for early diagnosis and treatment. It’s essential to consult a healthcare provider to assess Binh’s condition and determine the appropriate steps. I can understand having a corn crops to feed animals, however, I don’t understand how corn would take precedence over crops that would feed the family on a daily basis. Kong, you grew all types of vegetables before you got married and now you act as if you have never did it before. Don’t know what is going on with you but make this place the way it used to be before you married.
I’ve asked that before… why not grow food for the table… corn stalk’s only produce 1 or 2 ears… and I’m not sure if they planted it for themselves or the animals they keep eating!
