I think that the only way to fix some characters like her is by removing the effects ignore defense and ignore resistance and replacing them with an effect that ignores all defence related stats (it is powerful when you think that that means that 100% will always hit and crits will do way more on to of the ignore defence and ignore resistance) because at the moment those cards just hit like a wet noodle.

It was just changing the effect of ignoring defense, to increase the damage by the enemy's defense (like the Power strike), and the effect of ignoring resistance should also change to something like: ignore critical resistance
They need to make a new skill that does additional damage equal to defense Iike what they did with power strike and then like replace the charge with that
My friend and I were talking, what if she is meant to be used on the OG demon? With a full raganrok team, it could be interesting. Like a scottie, brunhilde, and some other unit might be interesting. its not ready yet, but it could be interesting in the future. We were thinking this because of the ignore defensive stats card, and the OG demon has inconsequential debuffs and it recommends cards like power strike to get around his defensive stats. and with two teams full of ragnarok units, her stats can pop off.

As someone kinda new to the game, why is ignore defense so bad in this game? On paper, that sounds very good and in most games, an ignore defense mechanic would be insane, so why is it so bad in this one?

ignore defense is a Joke, if it was defense all-related stats it is a W
she's weird, like I don't think she's bad but there are better options to use ON HER TEAM (Ragnarok) than her and that's not counting the better teams in the game right now. I think the only thing that will kill this unit is the timing of release, just like Liz who was overshadowed by Rimuru and Meli
they probably giving her these passive cuz lets face it. Gods are coming real soon. We already know Tyr is there we know Thonar is definitely Thor and we 100% know Grimmir is Odin (considering that's one of Odin known aliases) so yea we gonna get alot of Ragnorok units that are powerful real soon.

Ignore 100% of related stats would be too op, I think 20-30% would be more fair (in comparaison, ludo ignore 40% related stats)
