It is worth having tyflow pro license for this update. Even though free version has all the same capabilities without gpu acceleration it is not real time process when you are adjusting terrain nodes. It is also good to show support to this developer

You're good at teaching! This is a nice update, and looks more straightforward than World Creator, and it's right inside Max. The liquid and snow melting/ tiling options are huge. I have a cpl questions. Is there a sculpting option? Can the tiles be randomized so it doesn't look so uniform? Will check to see if you have other tyflow terrain tuts. Appreciated

Setting up the different vray materials for snow/liquid/terrains requires that you separate the events by material IDs first and deserves its own tutorial
I paid for Phoenix fd on the refinefx site, but it's hard to see it because it's not translated within the site. If it doesn't translate like TH-cam, I hope the subtitles come out in English
Hey, the older courses don't have subtitles and the player doesn't support automatic transcription and translation - I wish it did! Which course are you taking?

Just been playing around with it finally, and i'll be honest if you haven't got cuda, don't bother. The processing time goes through the roof once you start stacking operators, it looks great if CUDA but for me who only has the free version its pretty piss poor to use

1) you can add your own texture into the terrain noise operator 2) yes it lets you create masks from almost everything from what I've seen so far

Please update to newest version Tyflow which has export to mesh option
@@RedefineFX I downloaded the latest and it´s the same. There´s an export terrain option with only heightmap export.

yes, it has multiple ways of cutting / excluding the terrain around objects - using textures, geometry, or clamping it with one of the operators

Yes. tyFlow free is not multithreaded and cuda accelerated

Drop them into the same folder as Tyflow. If that doesn’t work, install the cuda toolkit from nvidia website
