Hope you liked the video. Be sure to use the discount code MAKINGSTUFF at both Movebumpers and NorthLights! Thanks for watching!

Nice looking bumpers! Now you need to buff the headlights (make them clear) and paint the grill. Thanks for your videos.

Liked the video and bumpers. But… I think you made a not so good trade off on the rear bumper. The Move bumper doesn’t have the generous stepping area of the stock step bumper. I think in a wet situation the narrower step zones on either side of the license plate/hitch area will be a bit hazardous. Just the toe portion of your feet will be firmly planted. I’m a bit older, not as agile, and that’s my only complaint on the Move bumpers.
Once again, thanks for all of your informative videos.

Pretty cool seeing one of these installed. Price is definitely attractive since some of the companies charge almost $2k per bumper which is a lot

There is a $450 minimum for the discount code during the November sale. Prices are already marked down more than the discount.

*My dad is a highly skilled welder but he will choose bolt together equipment over welding in almost every example I've seen.* I'm a decent welder and like to seize opportunities to build and improve, but a lot of stuff you can bolt together is superior because it can be serviced more effectively as well as removed.
I've been doing a lot with Unistrut the last few years and don't weld a whole lot of it.

I thought you HAD to weld everything and my welding talent is not good. I am definitely going to take a hard look at these. thanks

My truck is same vintage as yours. I notice you ended up removing the tow hooks? That is very disappointing. Any way to keep them on, or is this not compatible with the Move bumpers?

    • @MakingStuff

Yeah, the old tow hooks got in the way.

I know what you're saying. My 2011 is all original, but this year I replaced the headlights with genuine Mopar parts. Exactly like the originals. I can see again!
Bad thing is, they were $250 a pop.
As far as bumpers go, I was thinking of pulling mine and bed linering them and putting them back on. They have a little rust right now.

Looks good! Maybe I missed it, but I’d have Loctite Red for the pieces that hold the bumper sections to themselves and blue loctite for the ones mounting to the truck frame. Those are a must imo for things that COULD vibrate loose such as bumpers. Other than that, great option for those without access to a welder or don’t know how to properly weld.

Did you prime the mating surfaces between the bumper sections, or is rust not a problem there?

We don't get a lot of snow and they don't salt the roads here, so rust isn't as big of a problem as up north.
