The few times I have fished with Capt Johnny Stabile has been a great time. Extremely professional and good conversations we fished freshwater one trip and tarpon the next trip. I look forward to fishing with him again soon. I would recommend anyone from a novice to expert fisherman to book a trip. You will learn a lot. And have a fantastic experience.
I'm brought to tears...please give your mom and dad a kiss and hug from me and my family. They did a great job raising you guys. You and family have touched our lives. All praise to God! Sincerely, Precious
Blue Gabe :: when I was a kid back in new york. ( in the 1960s )my dad bought me a few fish tanks we bought Oscars , even back then they cost about 5.00 dollars each. We also bought Jack Dempseys. Did people just turn them loose ? In the canals.. THANK you Frank from montana....
Awesome video BlueGabe! I have fished with Capt. Johnny Stabile several times. He is the real deal. Love the underwater footage. He can put you on the fish. Thanks for sharing this super fun video!
Sick video gabe. You and deer meat have been two of the most influential people i watch on TH-cam. Really I’ve been fishing a lot more since I’ve been watching you guys and also trying a lot of new different species of fish and wild game. Thank you for all the lessons you’ve got on your TH-cam
It's nice to see men like you and your brother that tech your kids about the outdoors I would do almost anything to be able to go fishing or hunting one more time with my father memories of the times we did go for the best memories of my childhood
Congrats on the new baby! Please update us on Jake. So kind of Kelly to take care of that. She’s the one! Oscars are monomorphic, so there’s no way of telling them apart. One thing for sure, they taste just as good! Awesome catch Gabe! Thank you for sharing! God bless y’all.
Great Video. Capt Johnny knows the drill. Sometimes it really helps to have other male role models (besides dad) teach kids. Been there, done that. My youngest learned to fly fish in 20 minutes with my retired mentor. My son paid attention. It makes a difference.
Capt Johnny has been out with Landshark hasn't he? That's what separates the good from the great, taking the time with the youngest or oldest customers aswell! Love the exotics vids!
Checking in from Western Washington. I would love to come to Florida and help wreck some fish with you. I hope Jake gets to feeling better real soon. He is in my thoughts to heal quickly. Pls let Miss Kelly know I think she is awesome for taking Jake to get looked at. Oh and tell Luke he did a great job with those Peacocks!
Love the channel!!!!! I heard your comments on not having the drone RTH while on the boat due to moving around. If you are using a DJI Drone you can change the RTH to have it come back to were ever your hand controller is. You may want to try that out. Off course you phone or tablet must be connected to the GPS signal!!!! Good luck!!!
Well by now I guess I should say congratulations on the new addition to the family! Gabe you are crushing it and tell Jake I hope he gets well soon and he and Luke have been killing it lately! I love watching them grow and the personalities change while watching them mature! Jake is such a great big brother yo luke!
A real good thing to prevent that swap bottom is manscapes crop reserve her AKA ball deodorant. No lie went to Hawaii and don't think they even got moist enough to come close to that. Stuff really did kind of change my life especially with work
I love all your video! You are an excellent Chef and fisherman ! But moore important, you are à very good father. You are a good model for your son. You have good values.
You stud, I was just there a couple weeks ago. That place is gator central. No way I'd get in that water, but you sure did get some great underwater footage!
Gabe I have been down there and literally caught hundreds of Oscar's and peacock bass they are delicious bud tons of fun and a great experience for the kids.
Funny story, we had made a swing just like that one in the video and it swung over a 10ft drop and after a year of no one using it I figured it was a good idea to go swing on it. It was higher off the ground though with just a stick to hold on to. I was in the 6th grade and apparently the wood had rotted over the prior year and when I swung over the drop it broke and I flipped around to catch myself and broke both my wrists. One had to be reset and put in a full arm cast and the other in a half arm cast.
When I first read the title I was like alright a dang peacock, Florida has them things running around?? I gotta go do this and try one out on the dinner plate haha then my blonde moment went away and realized it was peacock bass.
...South Florida definitely does have Peacock running around. 20-30 years ago there was a law put in place that you couldn't harm Peacocks because people wanted to save a specific group of them that were released, or wound up here somehow. Decades later...you can find em in a few places.
I absolutely love how little lukey always has to let everyone know I caught the biggest one an its not true most the time it must be comedy most of the time with Luke but like you say he can be a handful too he said he thinks he's got an alligator
Another great video Gabe! Man, what a day of peacock bass fishing! That was very impressive. I never knew there were so many peacocks like that in south Florida anyway. ( I knew they were there, but not in such massive numbers. )
@@calallen8786 I believe you. I've always known about the peacock bass in south Florida, and I've been wanting to get down there to catch them, only for sport of course. But I thought they were stocked mainly in the canals & ponds of communities........I had no idea that they appear in the canals out in the middle of nowhere, and in such huge numbers. Gabe said they caught over 75 peacocks on this trip........all on lures too!
No they can be found throughout the everglades since these canal and ponds are connected to other bodies of waters. I believe it 75 a day. Heck I could catch that many if I wanted too.
@@calallen8786 I wish they could tolerate our cooler winter water temperatures up here where I live, around Melbourne, Florida. I would much rather see peacock bass proliferating up here.......vs all these darned tilapia, pleco's, and armored catfish. I like to eat wild caught tilapia, but they are literally over-running all of our lakes & rivers. Living & fishing here since 1969, I can recall when none of these invasive fish were here. Peacock bass are the only ones I would love to see up here.
I know how that feel. I usually do bunch of trip down there when I used to live st Pete but now moved to Homosassa. But eventually NC . I remember when I was a kid in the 90's I've never seen those wacky species like plecos in wild but the oddest catch I ever got in st Pete was pacus, Oscar both black and white. But only thing I hasn't managed to catch is clown knife down in ft Lauderdale/ Miami area.
Wow, hopefully she won't have the same birthday as her child. My wife and our daughter have birthdays 1 day apart...Nov. 4 and 5. and what makes it more wow is my birthday is Oct 31 and our anniversary is Nov. 3.....we think its pretty cool. Congrats on the baby. Keep making videos, I love watching you guys.
I really like blenders, I have a few pairs but the only thing that is disappointing is that their not made in the USA. Besides that they are great sunnies 👍🏻
I didn’t imagine you was bout to do that cake ❤️❤️ love it, i which is was for me 😢😢I have a couple yellow tail and snapper in the fridge bout make me some cause you make me hungry with that cake ❤️❤️ love your video I’m back to watch them I was in a trip
Hey Gabe' I Live in Tampa Florida are Oscars and peacock bass here? Also what are the limits and size regulations for them? I don't have a boat and disabled so i would have to find a dock / pier somewhere to fish for them if you say they are here.
Had a pet Oscar about the same size. Also had an electric catfish in the same tank. One day the catfish Twinkie came out of his cave, swam up to the Oscar and body checked it. Don't know why it did it. Either establish dominance or the Oscar was talking smack.

The other family in the video was expecting a baby due that day

The "crack kills" joke took me back to my childhood, learning to fish with my best friend's dad. Thanks for that one.

I'd like to see you fish Wisconsin Michigan or Minnesota in the summer. It would be fun to see a true southern outdoorsman up north
West cost guys use 400-500g knife jigs for giant bluefin tuna.. Hope they can get some of the bigger sizes on there site!
nothing but good vibes from you, your family, and friends. what a blessing Gabe
Man you never disappoint with your videos God bless y'all 🇺🇸 can't wait to catch a peacock bass some day
I heard Kelly say that the googles would be good for the airboat, I thought that you sold the airboat?
Man tell me that fillet table Kelly bought you has been one of the best gifts ever. You're always on that bad boy.
Love it bro! Looks like you went catchin instead of fishin!

16:40 I caught a fish just like it but it was completely red. Your brother Albert told me it was a Mayan Cichlid.

You said you were going to have a taste test between the whole fish and the fillets. The results going to be revealed in part 2? 😉 😆
