Technically, when you finish box 400, it will not make a million pennies searched. You have to remember you have found the occasional dime in these rolls. And each dime found is one less penny searched!
It is the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US and abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus.
Same here, I believe the Bitcoin ETFs approval will be life changing opportunity for us, with my current portfolio of $108,000 from my investments with my personal financial advisor i totally agree with you
YES!!! that's exactly her name (Mrs Elizabeth Regina Nelsen) so many people have recommended highly about her and I'm just starting with her from Brisbane Australia🇦🇺
Came across heck of a buy today tin can full of wheat pennies at least four 1909s lot of early wheat pennies plus the bonus a 1971 ike dollar in bu 60 condition
Hey, used to watch you a couple years ago and i would just like to say Im grateful for how much I have learned about coins from you, you truly made my childhood great watching these videos with my dad.
Rob even if you hunted 100 boxes of pennies a week I would watch all to the end I just love pennies I still have a bag of unhunted pennies I did see a 1941 Newfoundland penny and a Canadian 1957 so I guess they are not hunted
I am trying to do more coin hunting videos in 2025. I will be also watching more of yours. Great hunt brother! I wish I could find such a beautiful Wheat cent! GAHHH!
Today I went to that same bank I went to last Friday when I found the 1933D and I got 10 more dollars in pennies but no big luck today just 4 common wheats 😭. Hard to get any from the same box twice. The 1927D is the last common one from the 20s I can’t find. I hate that when the last number is gone😡.
I AM SO FRIGGING EXCITED FOR YOU. YOU ARE SOOOOO RIGHT THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE BEAUTIFUL COIN. IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND SO MAGNIFICENT THAT I AM HAVING A HARD TIME COMING UP WITH WORDS TO DESCRIBE THAT COIN. I WOULD LOVE TO BE THERE WHEN YOU SUBMIT THE COIN FOR GRADING AND VERIFICATION. JUST TO GET THE LOOK ON THEIR FACES WHEN THEY SEE IT. I KNOW THAT THEY HAVE SEEN BETTER BEFORE BUT I WOULD J😮JUST LOVE TO BE THERE TO RECORD THE LOOK ON THEIR FACES WHEN THEY FACES. I BET IT WOULD BE EPIC.
Rob, I love all denominations of your hunts, ESPECIALLY pennies and nickels! Keep up the great work, thanks for sharing your entertaining and informative hunts, and Happy New Year to you brother!!! 🎉
I always wondered about my cent book. All the older ones look real worn, probably not worth much, ther's still some pretty high quality cents out there that many will pay up for and turn down their nose at mine, wish I had 1909 s vdb and 1955 ddo. That one you found is nice, wish mine looked like that! I think a lot of older wheats just get dumped, dealers don't like them if they can't make lots of money. Got a couple good ones but always P.
I have a 1983 d penny the 3 is much longer I don't have a scale to weight it is there a way to tell if it's copper I dropped a drop of vinegar on it in it turned green idk what that means ? If you could help id really appreciate it
One time on the ground inside of a little small store about 5 years ago they sound like pop soda and balloons and stuff like a party store I look down on the floor and there was an 1896 Indian head penny just won Penny and I was really excited then last week I found a Liberty standing quarter inside the coinstar at my shop and save grocery store in Pennsylvania
I worked in a hotel as a bellman. Another bellman received as a tip a long metal box, inside of it were small yellow envelopes which had pennies in it dating from 1909 through the 60’s. There were 1909 pennies, several 1955 pennies, almost all the dates had a few pennies in them. I do believe that the giver took away some valuable envelopes, or coins out of them because they were either gone, or empty. I gave the bellman $4.00 for everything. I have had it for about twenty years and I am filling the envelopes with some Wheat backs that I come across. Off hand I am wondering what dates I should be looking for.
Thx again, Rob. Just out of curiosity....of those 1M pennies search....may I ask?.... What percentage of them ended up in your was copper stash? Thanks! EDIT- I would be even glad to hear it part of your 1M overview that you will probably also do. So...I can wait!! 😆 Thanks again! Z

Wow! Kind of in shock you mentioned expert, Elizabeth Regina Nelsen. What a coincidence!!
That was a sweet old wheatie! And finding three pre-1930 wheaties with mint marks - yes, you can't get mad at that! Another great video!
What a blazer
I found a 1909 VDB in that same condition last year. One of my best finds.
Yeah that’57D is a really nice find 👍.
Came across heck of a buy today tin can full of wheat pennies at least four 1909s lot of early wheat pennies plus the bonus a 1971 ike dollar in bu 60 condition
Got my first silver quarter of 2025 yesterday in my change at Little Ceasers. It was a 1964-D, it upgraded the 1964-D in my folder.
Hell yeah! Start a channel! Its fun!
@A.M.T.V. I would, if I was good at talking on camera. However, I could make some videos soon about my collection.
Very nice red penny! I hunter a box of Pennie’s and got a 1918 P pretty worn and common though
Very nice...I'm in my first box of the year, light on wheaties but copper is great...1 and half motel plastic cups so far
3:37 Rob! You found the rare penny from the year 192 AD 😂
LOL
Lol
Hey, used to watch you a couple years ago and i would just like to say Im grateful for how much I have learned about coins from you, you truly made my childhood great watching these videos with my dad.
Rob is awesome to watch and a great source of info!
I found a 1916 Lincoln matte proof! 😊
Wow that’s awesome!
Glad you feel good enough to do a penny hunt.
Rob even if you hunted 100 boxes of pennies a week I would watch all to the end I just love pennies I still have a bag of unhunted pennies I did see a 1941 Newfoundland penny and a Canadian 1957 so I guess they are not hunted
I second that!
You had some nice old wheaties. That '57 Denver was beautiful. 💖💯
Wow, nice penny hunt to start the new year buddy 👍
Always love to see a fun penny hunt! Thanks, Rob!
Nothing like finding a shiny red wheat cent. Another great video. Thanks for sharing.
The 1957 D was a cool find. Hard to find them that red nowadays. Great episode Rob!

Neat seeing the older wheaties still in circulation.👍🤓
Some good find, enjoyed viewing. Happy Hunting,

Great wheat penny hunt congratulations on getting 5 lbs of copper pennies and other finds thanks for sharing Rob
I would take the copper for sure!
I love it when I find those new looking wheats, 60's & 70's during my hunts.

Hello I really like your channel.
Thanks, I appreciate you watching!
Awesome finds, Rob.
Congratulations on the finds. I enjoy your videos.
Nice hunt! Especially that bright and shiny wheat!
Great finds 😮
Pennies are my favorite coins to hunt! Always fun to hunt
I agree. 2023 was my best year for cents. I found 3 IHCs in circulation. 1900, 1901, and 1903. All common, but cool to find in circulation
I AM SO FRIGGING EXCITED FOR YOU. YOU ARE SOOOOO RIGHT THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE BEAUTIFUL COIN. IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND SO MAGNIFICENT THAT I AM HAVING A HARD TIME COMING UP WITH WORDS TO DESCRIBE THAT COIN.

Penny hunts are always fun. Guess it's the thrill of the hunt never knowing what's coming next.

Oldies, beauties and Copper, you can’t get mad at that!!!!!
That 1957 wheat penny looks solid
Forty boxes to go , wow .
I always wondered about my cent book. All the older ones look real worn, probably not worth much, ther's still some pretty high quality cents out there that many will pay up for and turn down their nose at mine, wish I had 1909 s vdb and 1955 ddo. Good stuff, Rob
That 1957-D was really nice
I recently just found my first wheatie ender, a '53 P. RB. So I feel like this relates
Another penny hunt, with no Casino roll opened. The find of the century, just might be in one of those rolls.
In one box I got from Xmas I found 1919 and 1919 s with a 1998 S proof penny
Got ten rolls of Penny's from the bank today 32 wheat Penny's oldest was 1923
Wow! Not bad for 10 rolls! Not bad at all!
I found my first proof penny 1998 S it's so beautiful
if you take a minute to look at the date on 3:51
it looks like a 1926 to me
I found a 1911 wheat penny with a blank planchet reverse does it have any value it's in pretty good shape wit luster
But when I see dudes thumbnail of that wheat penny i’m like I need to go to the same bank now!!!😂
Lol hell yeah, me too!
Nice!
I have a 1983 d penny the 3 is much longer I don't have a scale to weight it is there a way to tell if it's copper I dropped a drop of vinegar on it in it turned green idk what that means ? If you could help id really appreciate it
Love a penny hunt and fill. Do you keep the wheaties with corrosion or do they go in the copper box?
I keep them separate.
Imagine a 22 Denver or a 24 D :) if only!
I WISH!
n off question for you rob ... Can you do a video on how you do your videos and editing? Thanks!
Hi, Rob! I forget, have you ever found a proof wheat cent when roll hunting?
Yes, several of them. I think my oldest one is 1959.
Gotcha. So proof Memorials only and no proof Wheaties yet!
1928 D is it a keeper or back into circulation? Do collectors actually put nice coins into circulation or is there another way they get in?
I keep all the wheaties I find!
Man! I didn’t know it was published recently.
Great video Rob my name is Rob also
What's up Rob!
Hey Rob, so what do you do with the copper pennies?
I keep them and then eventually sell them in 15lb bags.
👍
I worked in a hotel as a bellman. Another bellman received as a tip a long metal box, inside of it were small yellow envelopes which had pennies in it dating from 1909 through the 60’s.

I gave the bellman $4.00 for everything. I have had it for about twenty years and I am filling the envelopes with some Wheat backs that I come across. Off hand I am wondering what dates I should be looking for.
I still don't get keeping copper. Even if you could melt it down the cost to do so and store it all won't be worth it.
Thx again, Rob. Just out of curiosity....of those 1M pennies search....may I ask?....
What percentage of them ended up in your was copper stash?
Thanks!
EDIT- I would be even glad to hear it part of your 1M overview that you will probably also do. So...I can wait!!
😆
Thanks again!
Z
All of the copper ones end up in my stash. Of course, I just recently started selling them at 2x face value.
***Charlani Cackle reminder 😂 ***
OMG thank yoU!
@ ofc
@ could never forget it
I’m not saving Canadian Coins but I got some, if you’re needing some, where can I send them to?
It's 1926 d or a 1928 d that's what it looks like through the camera with a magnifying glass
1926D?
Do you actually melt your copper coins or sell them to someone who does?
I do not melt any US coins. I eventually sell some of the copper coins I find, but I still have most of them.
@ oh I gotcha! I was always curious what you saved them for. Thanks for the reply!
We have "Nick-a-date" is there no "Pen-a-date" for pennies? Cool viddy! Peace!
When is your next live
Wednesday at 6pm Central Time.
I had found a 1969-s ddo just a second ago before watching the video
Hey Rob, why do you keep 1969 s pennies?
Boom?
Yes, BOOM! 💥
✌️
You just found a semi-key date. 1919 s
It’s common. I don’t consider it semi key. I get one every three or four boxes
It's a 1928-D.
I will take quality over quantity 9 times out of 10
me too brother. me too.
Vote for hunt and fill penny 189
looked like a '26 denver cent to me
It looks like 1924
