Whats goning on with the real Estate Market-Montreal October 2024

With inflation at the lowest we have seen it in years and interest rates declining quickly too, a lot of people have been asking me "how's the market"
Short answer: Healthy
Longer answer: Depending on what you want to do, you need a intelligent strategy, as this is a fluctuating market that needs more than "general advice".
Overall there are still large margins of negotiation, more homes for sale than we are used to seeing but plenty of transactions happening anyway.
With interest rates coming down, all sectors will increase in activity, but the busiest area in the spring will be the lower price point areas . (pincourt, ile perrot, vaudreuil, St Lazare)
