ด้วยเพราะหน้าตาแสนธรรมดาของหนุ่มแว่น ทำให้โต๊ะไม่เคยมีความรักมาก่อน เขาไม่สามารถตีโจทย์ที่ได้รับมาแตก จนกระทั่งได้พบกับ “เหนือ” รุ่นพี่ปีสามผู้มีดีกรีเป็นถึงเดือนมหาลัย จากการตามเพื่อนไปเชียร์แข่งบาสเก็ตบอล โต๊ะถ่ายภาพเหนือระหว่างแข่งขัน ท่ามกลางเสียงเชียร์และผู้คนมากมาย เขาตั้งชื่อภาพว่า YOU ARE THE MAGIC และส่งรูปนั้นเข้าประกวดจนชนะการแข่งขัน มันควรจะจบลงแค่นั้น แต่โต๊ะกลับตกหลุมรักเหนือเข้าให้อย่างจัง
เพราะความธรรมดาอย่างหาที่เปรียบไม่ได้ของตัวเองเมื่อเทียบกับอดีตเดือนมหาลัยที่มีดีทุกอย่างอย่างเหนือ โต๊ะจึงเลือกที่มองอยู่ห่างๆ หลบในมุมของตัวเอง คอยติดตามข่าวคราว ความเคลื่อนไหว โดยมีเพื่อนสนิทในก๊วนให้ความช่วยเหลือ ตามถ่ายรูป อัดรูปมาติดกำแพงห้อง เก็บของที่ระลึกเล็กๆ น้อยๆ เท่าที่พอจะหาได้ รู้ตัวอีกทีโต๊ะก็กลายเป็นคนแอบรักแบบเต็มขั้น

I find it interesting that Toh is his obsessed to a creepy level (his room has too many photos, especially the cut out and the body pillow) character type, but he also seems conscious enough to keep this private and not expect anything from Nuea just because he has a crush. I'm impressed that he could speak to him calmly and professionally on the phone, and his rules of secret crush give me hope that he's not a crazy crazy stalker and has potential to grow out of this obsession into something real in the future. I feel like, kind of like in My Beatiful Man, he'll need to stop putting Nuea on a pedestal, start treating him like a real person, take off the rose colored glasses and be brave by walking forward into reality. Itll be interesting to see how this develops. I also think we need to get to know Nuea more, what's he up to? I'm suspicious/curious. 🤔 Who are you Nuea, what are you thinking about?

Loudly plz , its just the first episode, T suffers of loss of self-confidence because of his appearance. Look at his group of friends. seems they feel inferior in front of N group. He certainly doesn’t expect / waiting anything from N, and as you mentioned, I also liked that he deals with N professionally, without making any childish movements, despite the secrets he hides, I eagerly waits for his personality to develop and stop the stalker actions
I find it really sad when nuea thrown the tangerines out in the trashbin
Toh is a little bit creepy but he knows his boundaries and limits
But i think he has been this way because of his rules of having a secret crush
He is still not prepared to confess and have a normal chat with nuea because he thought that nuea might broke his heart
So he admires him in every otherway possible (some in a creepy sense lol) but its kinda cute in my perspective since there are no obssessive possessive thing happening like i read in mangas
I feel Nuea likes him since but he is hiding his feeling, to feel toh's own side of love,and he also find it interesting as toh chase's after him and want more attention.

Nuea is pretty suspicious... either he knows that Toh loves him and follows him around or he has his own crush on Toh: for example he looked at Toh and his friends hide with a smile while passing by, at the car scene, he smiled sweetly at Toh while Toh tried to hide, then at the cafeteria, he extra looked back at Toh while passing by... not to forget that he asked for Toh to come and take pictures of his sister at her birthday, like who does that... he did his research pretty well, to find out who took his picture to hire him to be the photographer at the party....

I like the friendship that they show here, usually in series they don't put much emphasis on friendship, it's almost always like the protagonist has friends who are known to be there and who have their moment near the end of the series supporting the protagonist in some way and that's it. Here you can feel the friendship of the group, four people with different personalities but that they are there for each other and that even if they find out what their friend is doing is silly they are there supporting him in his madness and also putting a little sanity in him when is need it

Toh is so painfully awkward. Im not sure how his magic is actually gonna get past to really see him. Theres glimpses of toh actually being a sweet kid with a big heart but its hidden behind his extreme shyness and panic everytime he sees his crush. I actually kinda think his best buddy is more level headed and down to earth with his life. So hopefully he gets toh to calm down

Coz I have watched ep 3, only re watching this ep 1 😁, once Neua spoke and then met with Toh, Neua then became aware that his stalker is this nice picture photographer. And since they are already talking due to his sister bday, Neua started to approach Toh. Like calling him, texting, visiting his dome to look at the pictures, inviting him to the singing concert event, then ep 4 asking him to attend the party which ended up biting each other 😆. Wuiiihh can’t wait for ep 4 🥰

I'm finding it rather difficult to describe how I feel about this new series. It's a bit of a jolt to come back to one like this after the wide variety of mostly excellent ones that have been airing over the last year in that the plot is more far fetched and the characters (Toh and friends) as shown so far behave in a way that makes it hard to believe they're university students. It's entertaining, the cuteness factor is up to par and the production overall is of high quality as one would expect. I'm intrigued as to how Toh will turn from stalker to romantic interest and how that works out. Only time will tell.
Yeah, I’m having a hard time readjusting, too. This one is back to that over-the-top, caricature style. It’s a difficult shift after all the more realistic, deeper (plot-wise) dramas we’ve been getting lately.
Truth, after watching Not Me and being heavily invested in the story this series is like a slap to the face, but like a nice slap to the face?? The whiplash is real lol
@@vpersona177 I was questioning whether I wanted to watch this series for the first couple episodes. But it gets really good in a weird sort of way. At least once every episode, I ask myself “what the hell am I watching” and I love it. 😂

*Long comment:* I’ve read a lot of comments and since it’s the first episode, I have a couple of things to say/restate; Toh’s crush isn’t really a secret; considering the fact that Nuea noticed him and his friends on various occasions stalking him and rather than pointing them out just simply smiled/smirked and then directly asked him if he liked him at the end. This raises the question did he know Toh since before that he has his own secret crush; hence the job he specifically wants Toh for? Or is it just sudden interest🤔? Many commented on Toh’s obsessive behavior and how it was unacceptable and creepy and while I’d agree if it was in real life we have to acknowledge that it’s a show and a plot point for character development (Toh will probably realize his life shouldn’t revolve around Nuea). Talking about behaviors, I think the friends are also a bit concerning; they’re great people for being supportive and comforting, but I think they’re supportive of the wrong things like they shouldn’t encourage him to collect trash and stalk. I think the most conscious/voice of reason is Jao (again it’s the script, also can’t wait for his couple development 😉). Thep (Saint) was great he seemed like a kind senior who genuinely liked the group of friends kind of like a big brother. I also think Nuea was a bit rude for throwing Toh’s gift but then again, I don’t think I’d want to keep food from strangers or that just “appeared” on my car either so I can’t judge 😬😅. Great first episode 👌👏although a bit cringey, it’s intriguing and fun 😉👍.

*Another long comment* (for those who'll come here when they find this series): the term "secret crush" between Nuea and Toh goes both ways.
Toh has a crush on Nuea and Nuea is clearly interested in Toh, hence him questioning Toh on his feelings.
Nuea is aware of Toh, but not about his obsession for collecting things he came into contact with, which makes the meaning of "secret" even more evident.
Both Toh and Nuea's friends are supportive and have cheerful personalities; and here is the second point that stands out in the drama: the one between Toh and his friends is a friendship that doesn't ask anything, but gives.
Toh is an extremely insecure, good natured person and often awkward and it's clear from the first time we meet him. His friends are aware of this insecurity of his and they act as to not make Toh feel "wrong" as a person: in fact, the gimmick here, in my opinion, is that his friends don't need to "allow" him to do something, but they "support" him in his choices, because they see his passion for Nuea and at the same time the inability to show and convey his feelings.
In this sense, they're not holding back that part of him that craves for something (in his case is to come into contact with Nuea through objects that the latter has touched, or that are related to him) and urges him to take action, even if that action could be a bit questionable: in this case, I'd like to remind that Toh's behavior reflects the behavior of many people in today's society; just think about celebrities fans: how many follow them everywhere (taking photos and videos without permission from those involved) and collect concert and event tickets, posters, items from fan meetings, every piece of news their idols are in, etc...?
Yet all this has become normal and almost no one questions it.
This drama puts people in front of the existence of these things, wether they like it or not.
Above all, it highlights one of the most difficult topics of our days: physical appearance and its role in our society.
Today, with the massive spawn and expansion of social medias, personal image is the most important asset.
To everyone who's unsure about watching it or not, all I can say is that it's definitely worth a shot
Finally, I'd like to add a personal note: Billy and Seng are exceptional actors that have this incredible ability to portray characters with questionable traits and make people relate to them in some way.
They did in SCOY and in War of Y and their acting is what made me have faith in this series, because I knew I was in for an emotional rollercoaster ride.
I wish they'll have at least one more chance to work together again in the future, because their chemistry is top notch.

I don't really interested watching series with more than one couple, but i might give a try for this series because it hilarious from the first part till the end of first episode. I like the character of Jao, who love food, supportive and less talk.
