In addition to what my father taught me I have learnt that Nobody can manipulate someone who enjoys absolute solitude away from Worldly pleasures(you don't need to be a saint to do so) . Only the ones who are not content from with-in and with-out are manipulated .
    Another perspective is
The best way not to get manipulated is to know how to manipulate and choose not to .

due to spiritual practise and studying the yogis, siddhars, I know they are at levels they know all of these things naturally and even deeper, to the point of even deeper manipulation if they want to. Lots of these I know naturally by reflecting. It also gets weirder into non science things. Very good point, away from worldly pleasure, try read the Upanishads, it says precisely that that will get you to levels.

I had always asks myself why whenever I’m speaking with someone I noticeably noticed that I’m being confident until I meet with someone who’s less than me or balanced at a Lower level, then my confidence starts shaking as a reflected by that person especially if that person being on higher position like manager or lead and so on! While for others people I met if they’re have the same level of confidence as me we do great flow of communication.

I never comment on videos, but I want to leave this here. This was the most valuable podcast I have ever seen/listened to in my life. From start to end I just automatically started taking notes and the whole content just deeply spoke to me. The most impressive thing to me was that Chase made sure to highlight the importance of love and openness over the "dark psychology" he was explaining and performing and Jack's bravery to be there in the room and expose himself to his techniques. The ending with "Do not fear" quote topped it off. I bow to both of you.

Okay, these are the notes from my phone I took if it helps anyone:
      Confidence
      - Has nothing to do with other people
      - No comparison
      - No hierarchy
      - No scanning the room for the big dog
"Are you able to get to the point where you treat everybody the same?"
"Never think in herarchy and status."
      Number one goal of advertising
      - making yourself compare to other people
      - I’m not enough
Identity statement of I am not enough
      - social media does the same
"Confidence is about me, do I have confidence in this situation."
"The fastest way to develop confidence is to develop a comfort with the posibility of social injury."
      - am I willing to be emberassed
      - I am willing to say something that can cause a judgement
      - All insecurities are hierarchical thinking
Things are generally going to work out okay.
      Confidence/competence
Don’t look for other people for your confidence, it is an internal thing.
No matter what is happening its not a big deal because it is going to work out in the end. - faith, god
Social injury - judgement - shame
      Third pathway of confidence
Getting so forgiving of yourself and your own past that for anyone else you would be delusional or crazy.
      ** unlimited self forgiveness **
"I don’t care what anyone thinks about anything that I have ever done."
"I am so self forgiving that anything is forgiven that I have done. I don’t accept judgement from anybody else. I am radically delusionally forgiving about anything that I have done."
      What keeps most people back
      - Fear of judgement - shame
Training - getting people to live with wide open heart ready to get social injury
      Comfort x fear
      - Get more comfortable than other people
      - Fear speeds up our bodies
      - Slow down and be more comfortable
      Authority
      Outward:
      Movement
      Appearance
      Confidence
      Connection
      Intent
      Inward:
      Confidence

      - that voice was developed when you were 8 or 9
      - What did that kid do to

      - Get reward

      How to develop new habits
      F.E.A.R.
      Focus - daily focus
      Emotion - emotional realm
Agitation - how will I disrupt my environment enough - novelty - forcing to pay attention
Repetition - how will I ensure a non-stop exposure to all of this
      The dopamine map
Where are my dopamine sources coming from
      Present x Future
What do I want my dopamine sources to be and choosing those dopamine sources.

      PCP
Perception - I modify your perception
Context - that allows me to shift the context
      Permission - which changes permission
      Suggestibility
      Level of suggestibility depends on:
      Level of trust
      Level of openness
      Level of focus
Level of expectancy - do I expect something positive will come from this
6 factors that determine success with hypnosis

      Some quick paper thing
      Make yourself look harmless
      Jack stole something from 7eleven
      Questions in interview part
      Bait question
Today is my day off and I like you and I think that you’re a good person. I want to ask you a question and I’d really like you to think about your answer before you do.
Is there any reason that a videocamera at the store would have a videotape of you?
*Assume he was at the scene already and
hint there is some footage or witness*
Is there any reason xyz would happen?
      Punishment question
We know there is someone who did the crime, what do you think should happen to them?

This is something I shouldn’t have done
      X
      It is someone else’s fault
      It’s not a big deal
      People are gonna understand
Anybody in your shoes would have done the same thing you did
      Truth comes first
      Creating sensory experience
Indirectly describe in detail the given experience.
      Talking to them indirectly.
Start with I shift into General You
This happened… its like this happened to you
Focus is the Biggest currency in everything
      Describe in detail again
      Narrowing Hand gesture
Fear is the opposite of Love
All spiritual books teach we only really have two basic emotions, we have love and we have fear.
Having a good life is getting out of that fear area and getting into how I can just be open hearted and loving all the time and just loving what is going on and be more in the love part.

That’s why I always tell my clients: if something doesn’t work - if communication doesn’t work, or if they have to do something that feels really, really hard - it’s often because they don’t believe in it. And because they don’t believe in it, their communication reflects that it can’t work. If you say something to another person, or to a dog, or any animal, and they can read your body language - and they will - they’ll notice that you don’t believe in your own words, that you’re not confident. And when that happens, it simply can’t work. It will never work. You have to truly believe in what you say. That’s also why the best lies are told by people who believe their own lies. To lie effectively, you have to believe the lie yourself.

Decisions is our behaviour, not who we are. Our behaviour stops the moment we choose to stop it and we continue to exist so they are obviously completely different things. Guilt is what we feel when we do things that are not aligned with how we want to behave and the best way to deal with it is forgiveness. But low-confidence means you are interpreting this feeling as shame and that just does not make any sense. The moment you felt guilty and decided to look for ways to forgive yourself is the moment this behaviour is in the past, just a memory that triggers negative emotions each time we decide to rehearse telling the story to ourselves and the easier solution to boosting morale (which is temporary and very difficult) is to decide to stop identifying with your memories (which is easy and permanent)

I love how when he's talking about techniques for instilling statements that will cause the losing track of time, he throws in the fact that he cannot actually do this because he's got an appointment later that he cannot change... The pauses included, It's almost like he's setting it up how he's imbueing confidence that what he's talking about isn't going to happen. I'm not saying he did not have an obligation later he couldn't miss... But it does give the impression that he's not doing this to you because _____. True confidence is knowing we’re the universe experiencing itself, and comfortable that our blunders, and social injuries, are part of that fun story
Perfection and peace are in Nirvana, after this life. We’re here to have fun stumbling around and facing challenges.
Life is like white water rafting. The torrential parts are why we’re on the ride.
Detach from reality, it’s ephemeral, what we see now is impermanent. Have fun, and know that everything here in the present will be gone just as quickly as you encountered it.

Go up to the girl when she’s ordering a drink or off to the side of her friends and point out some really crazy looking person across the bar or if we’re both overhearing the same conversation from a third party, comment on that like now we have an inside joke
It’s only good when it truly is something she also noticed and thought was odd you can’t really force it, even then didn’t always work or didn’t always lead to anything more, but it did sometimes and did lead to a 3 year relationship once

I feel like the infectious confidence isn't trivial, it is really easy to go from supportive to opressive when you present confidence, even unintentional. Working with people in high stress situations that you need to reassure so they will perform and stop second guessing themselves, the smalles signals that might've worked for the person you've just been talking to, might crush someone you turn to a second later, just because the level of understanding with that person had not yet reached a point where the expression you turned around with was acceptable or comfortable. It feels really important to mentally reset to neutral before you turn to someone else if you need to do that.

"The Attribution Error" is something that happens when we are told a single gesture has a singular meaning. For instance, one I see regularly is when body language teachers tell you that someone crossing their arms is deceptive, withholding, concealing, defensive, closed-off, etc. This type of thinking and training is deceptive in and of itself.
When we read behavior, context is key.
