Ooh man, I learned that the very first day I put a set of 275 drag radials on my 400WHP MR2 Turbo. I didn’t break that LSD, those big ass axles or that bulletproof transmission, but that old stage2 clutch just said “Nope!” Had to get me a better setup and learn to let it slip just a half a second.

That's become a trend somewhat recently because they think that anyone whose favorite car is any of the 90's iconic Japanese cars (Supra, GT-R, RX7, NSX, etc...) are all 12 year olds.
My cousin buys and sells high end stuff like this. He gave me a quick blast down a back road in one of these he was selling. Not the fastest car I've ever driven but the most immediate and focused. They were then and still are now the car to get with a big lotto win.
Nissan absolutely KILLED IT when it comes to their GTR R34 & R35, especailly the R34. That car came out in 1999, and 25 years later it still looks modern. In fact, it doesnt matter what year youre in... 1999, 2008, or 2024, the car will look modern. On top of that, most car companies can never get the whole car perfect. They might have a sick front but lack in the back, or vice versa. But Nissan designed the perfect car with the R34. This car is PERFECT front, back, and side to side. NOTHING about the design, anywhere, needs to be changed or adjusted. You will rarely ever see a car company kill it this good with a car.
