    This just blew my mind. I’ve never seen a zipper sewn to a seam like that but it makes so much sense! Working with illusion for the first time.

    Thanks so very much for sharing your technique for doing the zipper in the back and for doing the button loops and buttons in the back of your gowns. Very easy to understand the techniques and directions by your descriptions. ♡♡ Beautiful! Happy Valentine's Day 2023!

    Omg you are a lifesaver! I was wondering how to make sure that the zipper doesn't pucker. Thank you so much!

    How can I do this with a regular zipper instead of an invisible one ? Should I have to sew an overlaying flap?

    Hi Mom that sews: My concerns is wether to put a zipper in the back sheer or just the buttons? I tried the zipper company you recommended I didn’t see the zipper. I even called them. They told me they don’t care that type thing v zipper. You have talked me a lot as far as taking my time and follow through the steps. I am more confident now. Thank you for your TH-cams.

    How did you sew All the way down with the zipper, without leaving a hole to get the glider out so you can zip it up? Never tried to sew in a zipper like this

    • @MomthatSews
      @MomthatSews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don’t have to leave a hole when the zipper is open you can still zip it back up.

    I am making my sister's prom jumpsuit and I'm a bit confused. In this example, you closed up one side of the dress before installing the zipper. Should I just install my transparent invisible zip after I attach my bustier to the pants/ bottom? Or should I assemble the side seams after I attach the top to the pants, and then the zipper last? My brain is saying assemble both parts separately, attach, and then zipper last

    How did it take me so long to find you?? I have way too much time on my hands and a postponed wedding so I've decided I need to make my wedding dress. Or maybe three wedding dresses...Choice is good! Your information is definitely the most useful I've found. I just bought four of your patterns. It will take some serious grading to make them fit (especially my boobs!) but I wanted to show my support and appreciation. Thanks so much!
