Fed printing money and government growth is keeping stock & job markets up. In reality, most fortune 500 companies are laying off tens of thousands of workers and economy is in the tank.
Prices are not affordable in grocery store ,i went into our small town grocery store yesterday and the employees were marking down tons of items all over the store that were going out of date due to not selling, most of it will end up in the dumpster, what a waste. Customers had been complaining to the owners of the store that almost all the goods were out of date and complaining. Since inflation hit with super high grocery cost, locals drive the 21 miles to Walmart and grocery outlet stores to save money.

There's just two of us and we don't eat junk food, we both have health bars we like so I buy those, and I still spend a fortune at the grocery store. I try to cook healthy and eating healthy definitely costs more for some reason.
We are in a serious situation as we can hardly afford our grocery bill. We don't even go out to the movies or dinning out. This needs to be reversed, I don't want to see our savings continuing to erode.

I live alone my needs are few. I am on Social Security. I shop generally once a month. My grocery bill so far this is over $200 at Wal Mart.
