I managed to get a job in a new technical field, without prior experience and without a bachelors degree. The odds were stacked against me, and your material gave me a boost, for sure. Nice work!
I did the 2nd tip already before my video interview I’m going to have Friday, I told them how professional and amazing their employees were at the store I applied to and the manager seemed to be very thrown off and proud that I said that! Like they were not expecting that. And he seemed very eager to get me to an interview! I spoke with a Verizon rep on the phone a couple days before that call, and after I told her I was waiting for an interview from the Verizon manager, she said “I think You already have the job!” Confidence boost through the roof :,D ! Thank you for your videos. Thank you !
This must be why I got 2 job offers from separate companies right out of college haha 😅. I've always tried to bring a positive and happy vibe to the interview.
Sir I’ll have you know I’m an extroverted mechanical engineer. I’ll look at your shoes when speaking instead of my own! Thank you for taking the time and making these videos! Your information has been very concise and beneficial!
you are right in hundred percent my neighbour does the same thing here he never smiled at me and i did everything to be friendly with him and i finally gave up on trying to be friendly with him
Thanks, I was going for an interview when you uploaded this video and I watched it in transit and I can tell you that after applying all the techniques you've been giving I finally controlled an interview section with so much confidence and belief in myself. Thanks again sir this video wouldn't have come at a better time for me. God bless you
TCE (The Companies Expert) helped me land employment. After learning from him to have some "stories" of accomplishments, or examples of stepping up, etc. for the questions portion of the interview... My ability to "listen" seemed to capture my spot ...The interviewer opened up to me about a frustration in his work week... My response was "I can do that, how about scheduling me every Tuesday so I can handle that for you?" Also applied his "be likable" (without being patronizing or as# kissing- my words not the TCE's)
Such a good point about keeping confidence in check and not letting it become arrogance! Also love the subtle tips - the accommodating demeanour while answering questions
I have just discovered your channel and I am very impressed by depht of your observation, you are able to articulate things I somehow felt or observed but was not able to express it that accurately. You also say things that everyone is thinking.
more great tips.. thanksfully i inadvertently covered my bases and hit all 3 pointers in my last interviews.. now i gotta make sure i do it all the time. a lot of the time companies will be hiring because they are growing/expanding and short-handed. that is an easy thing to compliment on. "too many clients! what a great problem to have!"
Dear Bill. You do a great job, sharing this important experience. I want to thank you for what you are doing. It's really helpful for me. You are awesome!
Just wanted to say thanks for your videos. I subscribed months ago and used some of your techniques. Happy to say I completed my interviews and got offered the position. Thank you again for your knowledge and sharing.
I used your "smart answers" as ammo during my med, final interview & I been selected :) ,,, the first idea after I got the contract is to thanks you & now I am really looking to my next job interview after couple of years maybe to reuse these skills again :) :) :)
I thank God for giving me a naturally smiling face I smile even to people I dont know,I really really do smiling Thank you so much sir As usual you are my best
Consider making a video about being a good and strong manager/supervisor. I have recently been put in charge of 6 field technicians on a big project and it has been a learning process.
Great video! People need to remember that any of the modern days world leaders are all entrepreneur, they are not employees. Some of them like Mark Cuban saids he got fired a lot because he can’t conform to be like everyone else. That’s why those guys will probably not get hired as an employee but will thrive as entrepreneurs because of their vision and guts.
Smile with your voice. :) Say thank you for clarifying something, that’s a great approach too. Maybe paraphrase one of their questions back to them, and if they confirm thank them for that. Obviously don’t over do this.
thanks for your words in this video , it's very sincere ,genuine ,true and helpful. following you instructions ,i'm still doing truckloads of practice to be perfect until i get my offer :) wish myself to be the lucky one .
I've been watching a lot of videos on how to answer those interview questions and still failing em, omg I'm so sad now, I don't want to be missing these shots
Going for an interview tomorrow and I'm soaking all this great very well spoken useful information in thanks alot and you have the most realistic work readiness videos very easy to understand and remember!😊
@@nofilter7122 Yes, I did. My current employer tried to counteroffer so I could stay but I accepted company A's offer which was way higher. Watching this videos doesn't make you perfect but I think they do give you an edge over other candidates, specially if they don't practice/prepare.
Hey man why can’t I find your name anywhere? Well Mr. Ahhh Com Expert? Just wanted to say you are very very good but is there anywhere I can access these videos in the right sequence or in groups for a better learning experience? Watching your videos has made me realised how much a jerk I had been interviewing candidates. I promise I will change to give a better impression to my interviewees. Thank you for doing such a great job. You should be in Master Class instead of tubing though
Another thing is natural charisma. Speaking from experience. I completely bombed an interview because of nervousness but regardless got in. This position was a highly competitive one.
Thank you!!! You were born to do these videos 👍👍👍👍. I definitely Not up to any challenge with a stranger 😉☺️☺️.. LoL ..that was super funny line ! Your videos are very educated
Hello, how would you suggest I would position myself to be THE candidate when the hiring manager has both spoken to me for an hour amongst a narrow group of formidable candidates?
How do you get them to like you if it's a phone interview? Some hiring managers are now using phone interviews for initial job interviews before deciding to bring you into the office for the face-to-face interview (now that more offices are beginning to open back up)
I actually prefer phone interviews, it takes alot of the variables out of the equation, you can look however, fidget, do anything with your face, close your eyes and think if you have to. one thing I tend to do is tell a joke, but it can't be an off color, dirty or racey joke, actually it doesn't even need to be a joke, you just need to say something amusing. people in offices are looking for anything to chuckle about, so they appreciate it. also find some way to get a connection, like if they say they have to drive an hour into work, say "I know what that's like, man I"ve scratched up all my Kenny G cd's from rewinding while stuck in traffic lol" listening to Kenny G cd's is amusing, you're being super personable and you're saying "I understand your pain".
Hey there, do you have advice on how to pull it off without feeling like a fraud? I believe there is a population of people that feel this, especially when some of us are introverted.
I think it's called imposter syndrome. There is a lot about it but basically you feel this way because you know enough to know what you don't know, so you start to feel like you don't know anything. At least that's how I understand it...
The feelings like you are a fraud moments break your mind into two paths that you cant speak clearly nor succinctly, I think it's the humility and having too much self awareness that causes you to doubt
try to shift the focus in your brain, instead of feeling "oh they're gonna ask me all these damn questions and i have to remember the right answers and say the right things and present myself in a way that isn't really me" shift you're thinking to "I'm here to assist YOU (the company)" in your head and if this is the best way to get you to see that, then so be it. Take the focus off Yourself and put it on them and how you're here to help them. This also helps significantly with fear/anxiety at interviews. Also others have said you're not really lying, you're just showcasing the BEST version of yourself.

My compliments sound a bit disingenuous and sort of like a sarcastic dig 🤣
Go easy on the sociopathic engineers, sir! Haha! I’d only go up to them if they were rubbing their hands together too while making scowling faces! 😂

In this pandemic time, we should have a wider smile under the mask 😷 so our eyes 👀 can reflect a bit our smile 😃.
If everyone watches your videos it will be more difficult for HRs to choose appropriate candidates because all of them will be so Likable! =)
They might actually start having to go by real job qualifications then.
The thumbnail is so messed up lol
How do we submit a question ?
Does this work on out of formality "interview"?
No, sorry
