I've been excitedly waiting for this video! Sucks that there are issues but at least it seems to be working well!

Dude that's epic. What a beast of a machine

So, this is the thing about buying direct from China... In the US, if you bought this it will cost a lot more. However, after it gets shipped to you, an engineer or tech hops on an airplane out to you to set it up and make the needed adjustments. By you buying direct from China, you become the engineer. You really shouldn't be buying direct unless you're willing to be the engineer...this is coming from a mechanical engineer... To me, it looks like you might just be looking at a few adjustments.

I’d have to spend over 1000 hours trying to dial it in before the US stock would be worth it.

@@bhutch216 That's a perfectly fine assessment for your situation. As long as you're ready for that, then it's the informed path for you. Not everyone can, or is willing to do that.

I'm surprised there isn't a speed adjustment? Once it's dialed in and sorted these types of machines can usually be ramped up to production speed

Automatic machine remorse. I've felt this before.
You get a machine and think it's gonna be a work horse for you. But you end up being the magic little wizard behind the curtains fixing and making sure ever little component and detail is Finley tuned. It takes a considerable amount of continual effort. But you got a machine doing the worm. Yay

I’m curious about this, did you end up working out the kinks? I can’t find a machine like this on Ali, would you mind sharing the link or mfg?

It's been broken since May. I definitely don't recommend. I should have purchased a few more of my same simple ones and had someone run multiple machine instead of doing this.

Looks like your proximity sensor wasn’t working. It has a little light on it when it senses. It’s probably bad.

    • @ttms

I think the sensor is fine, it just does a poor job of sensing.

Hopefully once you get the bugs worked out, it’ll be fine. Otherwise, lesson learned I guess.

From what I can see this machine cannot be left to run on its own. It's too quirky. When you figure the cost of the machine, your having to watch it all the time, the errors etc, would you have been better off using your other equipment.
