Please post videos of the ways to remove metal seated gate valves which stuck in closed position where upstream is filled with huge volume and pressure without any drain and bypass system.
Sounds like you have a cavitation issue going on. Without knowing all the details it’s hard to say exactly what’s going on. They Make special features on gate valves that will prevent cavitation. I will try and make a video explaining that in the future. Good luck with your Valve situation. Thank you for watching.
@@everythingvalves thank you for your update. Actually it is stuck in closed position. It is DN 1200 mm metal seated valve of a rising main. Aprox 3.5km long without any drain provision, and aprox three quarters is full of liquid.
@@minshadmusthafa I can only give you my opinion of areas to look at. It maybe what they call pressure binding. That’s where pressure is trapped pushing against the gate. This link has some good information. www.google.com/amp/s/www.littlepeng.com/amp/2017/07/20/valves-types Sometimes loosening the packing gland bolting helps. This sometimes frees up things in the packing area. Caution because there could be pressure trapped. Without knowing what kind of actuator or gear you have. That also could be the problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your project.
Interested in frac valve videos like AWC and ValveWorks. There are a lot of valve techs in the oilfield who work on these. Thanks for your videos.
