Thank you. I’m also a tech here in Kent county. Cool. Just enough info to get it done and not watch someone else fight the good fight lol. Thanks again
I did this job two times on two different cars. The shop manual says to remove the wheel, liner, radiator and fans. That would make it easier. When you put the new one on, the bolt with the nut that fits in the clevis should be put on first, because you can locate the alternator and then simply rotate it into place. There is a ground wire that must be re-installed. It is mounted to the frame and then the other end goes UNDER the bolt head when you re-install the bolt that goes up at an angle. The third mounting point is a stud and a nut. As you look at the end of the alternator from the passenger side towards the driver's side, it is high and on the left. With some wiggling, the alternator itself will come out either from the top or the bottom. You don't have to drop the engine cradle either. With the radiator out, it will come out the top pretty easily. But it's a job no matter what.
Hello fellow man here who is willing to get on TH-cam and fix his own car I would just like to say you can pull the radiator fan out not disconnect any of the hoses access all the bolts to the alternator from the top besides two and take it out under the front passenger side wheel well
just crawl under the car, unbolt alternator, move alternator around and it will slide out the bottom. takes about an hour to do.. do not fallow any of these steps lol
Ill just take it down sorry i thought it would help , sorry ,my phone was broke and i didn't know , well i guess you can just pay someone to fix it for you
I guess I'll sell mine look how mini people view these kind of videos time to get rid of these kind of cars starter is underneath the intake manifold gaskets cost over $100

That's right, these guys are making it much harder than it actually is. It will come out the bottom when turned in the right position
just crawl under the car, unbolt alternator, move alternator around and it will slide out the bottom. takes about an hour to do.. do not fallow any of these steps lol
I have a bracket in the way of mine, even after moving one of the radiator fans over and it still wont fit through the bottom
