Hint for the viewers: the layer when you paint the height details has to be paint layer, not fill layer with a mask. I was struggling with it and realized my problem was that my layer was a fill layer. Thanks for the vid!
@@davidbittorf some nCloth videos would be nice. Right now i am trying to figure out a workflow for my characters while using ncloth to simulate fancy outfits. Stuff like joints influencing the outfit geo while at the same time ncloth is active
I'm am trying to work on a door with a light at the top and I want the light to cast all the way down the door but get dimmer as it get to the bottom and be emissive but not cover or hide the work i have done on the door is that possible and is there a video for that ?
If you want to play with emissive I would suggest altering in your main rendering program (maya/blender/unreal) rather than trying to get it to work correctly in substance painter. Unfortunately I do not know any videos for that.
Great video man! Thank u so much for this. But your mic almost drove me crazy. Misophonia affects almost 20% of the population and is an important point of attention if you want your videos to have an audience. Do not get angry! It's just criticism with a positive intention.

Really informative and straight to the point content as always. Keep it up!
Thank you! What other types of videos would you like to see?

@@PeteGavrov That's a great idea! I'll put it on my to-do list. Thank you!
You are up early! Interesting program!
It’s probably my favorite program!

@@davidbittorf Well thank you for getting back to me, is something like that hard to do in blender ?
@@fatman5706 I don’t think it should be that difficult. You just need to find out how to adjust the emissive intensity.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the mic and will be mindful of that moving forward.
@@davidbittorf ...thank u bro!🙂
@@riobaldo79 realize I have a lot prerecorded so you not hear the update right away.
@@davidbittorf Oh, don't worry. I won't stop watching your videos for that reason. It was just a point of attention. Thanks!
