@@mochilovebasket-2 I find that highly offensive. If it happens to be a team with all AFRICAN AMERICANS, then the team of ALL AFRICAN AMERICANS were the best that were available for the game. Period point blank...🤬😡🎯🤷🏾♀️💪🏾
Where is the deadly shooter like Clark? . This grinder style team does not fit and will not work anymore. You need a Steph Curry or Caitlin Clark type player. At least a short range shooter who can just pull up a 15fter.

The problem is, Coach Staley reaps the benefits of her team winning and not her players.
For example, when South Carolina won in 2022, both Coach Staley & her players were on the cover of Slam Magazine. Whereas in 2023, only Flaujae & Angel Reese was on the cover. Coach Mulkey was not on the cover. It should be about the players.
Other example, at the start of the 2024 national championship game, ESPN only showed the 5 Iowa starters; however, with South Carolina, it was both Coach Staley & her players. Coach Staley always wants to be in the forefront.
Lastly, Coach Staley is doing most of the interviews, including Gayle King, by herself, with none of her players. Whereas with the LSU win, it was Angel, Alexis, and Flaujae being at interviews, like Sherry Shepherd, the Breakfast Club, etc.
Let’s not talk about the State Farm commercials. It’s Coach Staley & Caitlyn Clark. Why not Cardoso & Caitlin Clark.
So it’s easy to mistake Coach Staley than the team, when she is always in the forefront of everything. It’s like she wants the recognition more than her players; although, the coach deserves the praise as well.

If it's about the players why only 2 lsu players were on the cover and not the whole team. It's about winning that's why the best recruits go to S.C and LSU had trouble recruiting high school talent and had to use the portal .
You worrying about getting attention and S.C only cares about winning ,that's how consistently successful programs operate and stay on top. FYI Dawn is not the coach who dresses like a clown evey game looking for attention.
