My neighbour has a 63 model. Same key. Common on lots of old deers etc. They came with a 3 speed trans which was not good so most have been replaced with a 4 speed. I know because i was a JD mechanic for 20 years. I like the series from the 80 s. Ice got a 130 and a 185 that i use ans a couple of 165s to restore. Light, strong and well made. Mostly now icut grass with a JD 3234 a fairway mower with rotary decks that i restored. Great machine.
