The original was sometime in the sixteenth century. Simon and Garfunkel made it popular in America in the late sixties???. However I was singing this song in Australia before then. No doubt there have been gazillion versions over time.

Forestella is comprised of contra (counter) tenor (he majored in chemical engineering and was working at Lotte as a researcher), tenor and bass (both from Seoul National University, majoring in music and are classically trained) and baritone (he was a musical actor).
@@TheSpeakEasyLoungeIn Korea, we just say Forestella. When introduced to foreign countries, they are simply referred to as a male vocal group. In Korea, the terms male quartet or a cappella group are not used for vocal groups. This is a name that was used a long time ago. And in Korea, regardless of the number of singers in a group, we just say it is a group.
