Great video! Hair follicle tests are scary bc you dont even have to be taking drugs to fail. You could be clean for a year and still fail which is more of a hindrance to companies bc they could be losing out on great drivers. Love the advice!
The fmcsa does not consider the hair follicle test as an admissible test...only urine at this time...but they put it on your report anyway

Trucker J 702 absolutely my brother, and it’s the best experience having my wife with me. Makes me a happy man, and I’m not saying that because it sounds good. But just keep making videos and it become natural, just keep doing it day by day and it will become easy as driving that big ass truck you drive

Marcus22453 nah it was a company in Georgia I think, I forgot what name he told me; the thing is he passed the drug test but failed the hair follicles. Lucky he was able to get on with another company

Marcus22453 drink a lot of water and exercise .... I think you should avoid the hair follicle because it stays in your systems longer. Keep going with Stevens transport.... they aren’t that bad of a company

I failed a pre employment test for meth I’ve never touched that shit in my life I just got out of CDL school and passed all my random urine test for 2 months straight that hair follicle test is bs

Did you take any adderall or speed based ectasy? it can show up in a test as methamphetamine

Any drivers reading this that are thinking of taking a hair follicle- DONT DO IT. I just got a positive result back for marijuana, and I don’t even smoke. I haven’t smoked in over 5 years! I believe it to be a false positive, but there’s nothing I can do. My career may be over and I didn’t even do anything. Don’t do it!
I agree with you, drivers should stay away from this kind of test, but your career isn’t over. The person I knew that had a false negative was able to get a otr position and he’s making good money. Keep hustling my brother . It’s all good. Sending positive energy to you

@@stephenstack3292 I’m not exactly sure what clearinghouse is but he got a random hair follicle test at a major carrier and then he got fired from them but by law they can’t put on his DOT record he got fired for hair follicle test, it just said he got fired for not following company policy. Hair follicle test is federal it’s by the discretion of the company. Hope this helps
So my best advice is avoid telling any potential company what happened at your previous company. Most likely they won’t be able to see it
@@Truckersnap it’s the new fmcsa website that all truckers have to sign up for, and now every company has to report to it if a test was failed.. I’ve been reading though and it sounds like they can’t report a hair follicle on there since dot doesn’t accept it. Thanks for the help man!

You need vinegar, clean and clear, tide, and detox shampoo. Did it for about a week and passed it’s called the macujo method

Automatic “refusal”
I hate these test!!! It's discriminatory because anyone with high melanin pigmentation skin and hair could get a false positive on hair follicle test. I never thought this would happen to me however, it did and thank God the 2nd test was negative for all drugs however I spent over $800 to clear my name during my CDL training I was also treated like an addict !!! Words of advice, don't let people you don't know well touch your HAIR !!!!

It only stays in your hair for 90 days. you are good to go ! Be sure that you not around any kind of smoke even you dont smoke personally
Drugs stay in hair follicles longer than 90 days. But it's not considered "recent drug use" IF more than 90 days. This is why they only cut 1.5 inches long and only check for the last 90 days.

I think they want to make it hard for black drivers and non favored drivers from making any money.Ive been reading most companies dont do follicle test.These places that offer a CDL and paid training and a contract to work for 6 months to a year and if you quit,you have to pay them thousands always give a follicle test.
What company will hire new drivers without hair test
A lot of them... there are thousands of companies. Not all of them ask for hair follicle test. They will tell you when you are applying or in the requirement section when you are applying. Most places just want the standard urine test

Many don’t do hair follicle test, but the easiest way to find out is by calling and asking without revealing your real identity.

Every company is different and it’s so many of them, so all you have to do is call up each one without giving them your info and ask them do they require hair follicle to get hired . Not a lot of companies do it tho

361 7561173 well if you only got a pee test you will be fine but if you had smoked or even had second hand smoke, you should do a at home drug test just to make sure. The hair follicles I don’t have that much knowledge on, I don’t like companies that do those kinds of test, just don’t trust it.
I already have my CDL Permit and my DOT Medical card and ive been concerned about those hair folicle drug test even though i dont do drugs, ive watched a whole lot of videos on here and yours by far is to the point and real inreference to putting your cdl and your career into the hands of major companies who only want to take your money and tie you to a contract..and at a welm ruin your cdl with a false positive druig test. Ive been holding off and thinking about paying a third party testing school in my area $1700 and getting my hard copy cdl...you just sealed the deal and eased my mind. Thanks brother and God Bless!
