Tungnath is the third Panch Kedar Temple among famous Panch Kedar Temples. Himanshu Tripathi accompanied me in this beautiful trek which starts from Chopta, which is called mini Switzerland of India because of its magnificent meadows, covering Tungnath Temple, and ends at Chandrashila viewpoint.
Tungnath temple was built by Pandavas and revived by Adi Sankaracharya.
Chopta-Tungnath trek is a popular trek and you should witness nature's beauty through your eyes once in a lifetime if you haven't been here. You gonna love it for sure.

Beautiful visit of Tungnath through ur. Vedio .First time I had visited Tungnath and Kedarnath almost 38 yers. before in 1983 during my forest deptt. training and whate see that there is great decline in forest cover and so many buildings have emerged .

भगवान तुंगनाथ की कृपा से 2018 दशहरे के दिन मुझे इनके दर्शन का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ था।‌ चोपटा से लगभग 4 किमी का ट्रेक की सुंदरता बहुत अद्भुत है। और वहां से 1.5 किमी का ट्रेक चंद्रशिला का है जहां सूर्योदय और प्राकृतिक दृश्य के अनुभव का वर्णन करने के लिए शब्दों की कमी पड़ जाती है।
