Greyfriar’s Bobby. Such a beautiful story of loyalty. Walt Disney did a wonderful telling of this.

Sure made me cry the first time I saw Disney's "Greyfriar's Bobby", but not as hard as "Old Yeller" 😭

Morse is credited in the US for the invention of the telegraph.
Ewell was the one who, when asked if there was anyone he'd seen in the Mexican War, he wouldn't want to face in combat, never hesitated, but mentioned one kid Lieutenant; incredible understanding of firepower, name of Grant.
For years, Americans called Alaska, Seward's Folly or Icebox, but he saw the hypocrisy in the Emancipation Proclamation and clled Lincoln on it publicly, he was one of those nearly murdered in the assassination attempts following the murder of Lincoln.
Horace Greeley's fame lasted well into the 20th Century due to the line, Go West, young man.

The quality just keeps improving! Your French is getting better, but it’s not really perfect yet. The last names are still problematic. I’ll give them to you in order:
    “Carre”=kaRAY “Babinet”=babiNAY “Amant”=aMAWN(t) “Pouchet”=pooSHAY.
Remember the accent is usually on the last syllable.
Samuel Morse started our long distance “instant” communication. It eventually led to the internet. I’m really enjoying this trip through the 19th century!😊❤

The trip to 20th century is coming back soon this time with not actors only. All the previous videos had actors and musicians will do the other sides very soon. ❤️😊
