Having tried a few pints it’s not for me but then I’m a lager drinker mostly it tastes like the stuff my dad drank Brains bitter . But I can appreciate that pale ale drinkers will like it . I did like Adams ghost ship.
The only beer that I have ever tasted at 4% that actually delivers on taste ,by that i mean normally you would have to drink a beer of around 5% or above to get the same taste sensations as you get with this truly session beer ,great Keg .
what a great review I've got Camden pale waiting to go in my perfect draft next so now looking forward to that ?? have a great Bank Holiday weekend big bold
Hi BBR, great review as always, just put the Camden pale in pd pro and can’t wait to try it not down to 6 yet. Like the stubby glass. I may even look for the chicken crackling. Thanks for the review. You and your family have a great weekend.
Looking forward to the Kwak Blonde! Have ordered the Blonde as well as the Rouge. The "Normal" is by far a favorite on both draft and bottle in the correct awkward glasses!
Looking forward to it as well chap. I also got the Rouge. I've got a Leffe summer to go through first though. Thought I'd had it before but looked back and it was only the spring I'd had. Hope you're having a top bank holiday weekend! 👍🍻
Your channel is the reason I got a perfect draft two weeks ago (early birthday gift from the missus I kept saying I want!) but I will have this on my next order! As I loved it from the cans.. keep on the solid work my man! 👊🍺
Good evening Baldy. It's great timing actually, as I actually bought a few cans of this for the weekend. I won't lie, I did enjoy , however the 4%abv for me is an issue at the price point on PD. It is a cracking beer and does taste quality. These reviews are so good Baldy, that I'm gutted we are on the home stretch now for reviews left. As a beer affectionardo we are so spoilt now compared to even 10 years ago. Let alone the 90s. Down our way it'd be Hoffmeister, Carling, Stella, guinness, Fosters and Heineken cold filtered...and the king of pure gas.....Skol! The most exotic it got ale wise ass Newcastle brown!!!! Now most pubs have a vast array of Ipas, beers etc which is 👌 Anyhow thnak you for. A great review, I'll probbaly pick one up if I can get it on short date. At the moment my weapon of choice is Innis and Gunn! I have 2 kegs of that bad boy in the fridge just begging to unleash it's Scottish holden beauty on my palette!! Stay safe Baldy and have a great Bank Holiday 👍
Cheers for the top comments yet again fella! I've enjoyed this keg has to be said, but agree, 4% isn't a belter at the price. It has a lot more flavour than many though, game of thrones and mikkella spring immediately to mind. Hopefully they'll be many a new release to keep the reviews flowing, and the beer! Hope you've had a top bank holiday weekend chap! 👍🍻
Hi Baldy Great review and Good to see you got a decent keg of Camden pale ale. I bought 3 on launch day and the two I’ve drank up to now have been horrendous. I’m usually pretty good at picking out flavours in a beers but this literally had no flavour at all up front, a very watery mouthfeel feel with a slight sweetness and an astringent artificial hop oil extract taste on the finish. It literally tasted like they had brewed a lager instead of a pale ale and tried to correct it with hop oil extract it was horrendous. The 2nd keg was a little better with light hints of grapefruit, lime and peach but they were very subdued and had the same watery mouthfeel and same hop oil astringency on the finish. After Perfect draft screaming from the rafters how good this was supposed to be I was very disappointed and shocked by how bad it was. After looking in the Facebook groups I found I wasn’t the only one who had this issue. Perfect Draft did reach out to me for the issue for which I’m grateful but for me I just cannot recommend it to anyone as a keg to try. For me Ghost Ship has Camden pale ale beaten hands down it’s got more initial flavour on the front end a great malty backbone and a decent but balanced bite on the finish, nothing seems watery or subdued, it’s just head and shoulders above Camden pale in every way. I do know people like you have said the Camden is great but for me I can only go with what I was delivered and it was very poor indeed. I’ve got one keg left and it will sit there for a few months and hopefully it might develop a bit but to be honest I hope Perfect Draft/InBev have some better plans in the pale ale/IPA style as Camden pale for me is not cutting it at all. I’m happy you got a good one though and you are enjoying it as there does seem to be more good kegs over bad kegs of Camden out there but just to know the quality is no consistent across all the kegs. Have a good weekend. Joff 🍺👍
Cheers again for the top comment fella! Your insights are always appreciated! Shame there isn't the consistency there and hope that last keg of yours is a good one! I've been enjoying this one have to say, but it is a close call with ghost ship, very close! Have a belter of a bank holiday weekend fella! 👍🍻
Crackin crackling review, Baldy...... Spot on! Any mention of roast chiken skin just makes my mouth water..... 🤤 Keep 'em coming Baldy..., just keep em coming 😀
Hi baldy, another top class review I must admit I prefer the ghost ship, it just seems to have that little bit more. I'm on the look out for those chicken skins they sound superb 👌. You take it easy mate always great to watch your reviews. Cheers 🍻
Another top review Baldy! Although you ducked out on the Salt & Pepper recommendation for the snackage; I can’t blame you for trying Chicken Scratchings. Will deffo go get some next time I’m on the Campden Pale. Happy Bank Holiday folks, cheers PerfectDrafters 🍻🍻
Just had the chicken crackling got the mixed box £1499 few different flavours tried the sea salt first but honestly have to say I’m very underwhelmed it’s nothing special and not easy to eat but in your defence it is the first time I have tried something you recommended and it’s not been good so 1 out of 40ish kegs / snacks isn’t bad 🤝 keep up the good work
That's a shame fella, I thought they were a bang on beer snack! Hopefully some of the other flavours go down a bit better 👍 Cheers for watching the reviews though chap and hope you have a top bank holiday weekend! And maybe a few beers 👍🍻
Hey Baldy, did you happen to run in the London Marathon last weekend? I'm 99.9% sure that I saw you on one of the Highlight programs? Love your reviews, keep them coming 🍻🍻👍👍
So Baldy, bit of breaking news (or not) My son works at Asda and they have just taken delivery of various kegs and Pro machines....trying to get pricing and keg return info........
