    When my hair grows back, I’m thinking about being a straight natural and have been mentally coming up with my regimen. That Olaplex line is definitely what I plan on using 😁

    I can completely relate to u. I have been natural since 2016 but I wore a lot of braids. After my braided moved I got into straightening my hair. Ppl would always talk about heat damage etc but honestly I’ve nvr experience it much. I enjoy seeing my curls whenever I’m washing/conditioning my hair 😆 I may even wear a curly bun w deep conditioner for 2-3days. But, I always straighten it I’m definitely more of a straight hair natural then anything else. I’ll do a two braid braid out or a 1 french braid braid it & call it a day. Every inch of my hair is dyed due to greys 😑😂 but it’s remains healthy & always reverts bk. Moral of the story if u take proper care of it it doesn’t matter what u prefer it’ll remain healthy. 😍😍😍😍

    New subbie. I came here from your other video on how to maintain your silk press and demonstrating how you wrap it at night. You're really helping me on my journey because I'm considering being a straight natural. I got my first silk Press today and it cut into a Bob and I am so excited! I literally cried when she cut my hair and definitely not because I lost length. I could care less about that. I wanted it healthy. But I think some things were really released the moment she cut that dead hair off and it was so freeing and necessary!!❤❤❤❤

    I enjoy this so much. I used to wear my press n curl all in high school. I loved it but my hair always stopped at shoulder length until I did the big chop and wore my hair natural (also before it was popularized). I BC’d like 5x’s. Now that I do my own hair, it’s to the middle of my back. I love doing my twist outs, braid outs, and whatever else. When I wanna be straight, I wear my bob wig. I’m enjoying my hair 😗😗😗
    But watching your hair reminds me of how my hair used to be. I love it. Keep doing yo thang gurlllll 💕💕💕💕🤩

    • @ravenvarela
      @ravenvarela 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mrod87 My curl pattern has loosened with each keratin treatment I’ve gotten...it’s really for making it easier to straighten your hair. I no longer have a consistent curl pattern all over my head my curls are not the same. If I want to go natural again I would have to transition again although my hair has a lot more texture now than it did when I was relaxed. There also isn’t a line of demarcation and my hair is healthier now than when it was relaxed.

    it doesnt look like you have one side longer than the other, it looks like one side has a looser curl than the other. Awesome video! If you workout I would love to see you do a winter "week in my hair" routine. I am a straight natural (well becoming one again) and I cant figure out the fitness thing bc I wasnt working out regularly when I was straight before. I did like one week no fitness, and once my hair was dirty I would try and get to the gym but that doesnt work for me now.

      It’s actually both, shorter and looser textured. My bob is asymmetrical and heavier on the right side because of my side part & bang. & I’m actually about get back into the gym regularly so I will have to figure that out myself. Lol So this is definitely a good video idea. Thank you!

    Girl we have a similar story. I went natural in 2009. I was too broke in college to get a relaxer so one day my friends and I decided to just chop my hair. It was great. I’ve done everything to my hair color, braids, all the natural hairstyles you can think of. At the end of 2020 I decided to get a keratin and straighten my hair. It’s been awesome. I love it. • @ChaviAllie
      @ChaviAllie  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wash & deep condition my hair at least every two weeks & get trims every 6 months now. I use heat about twice a week when I’m wearing my natural hair pressed. I wear a lot of protective styles like braids & wigs with leave out when my natural hair isn’t pressed. You haircare & maintenance largely depends on your styling routine. How do you moisturize your scalp and hair in between rewashing and flat ironing.
    I only flat iron my hair about once a month or more. I just cant seem to moisturize without weighing my hair down or making it mad oily

    • @ChaviAllie
      @ChaviAllie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, dry hair or scalp isn’t much of an issue for me thank God so the natural oils that my scalp produces is enough. I do this routine every two weeks so I get my moisture in though conditioning/deep conditioning. Occasionally I may use an oil on my scalp but that’ll be 1-2 days before a wash day because it will weight my hair down a lot.

    Straight natural, l personally prefer titanium it works best for my hair, and yes the highest temp. The curly styles are a nightmare to detangle 😢
