- I have been feeling disconnected with you guys after months of non-stop travelling and filming contents. In fact, the current episodes you see on my channel was filmed 4 months ago. I wanted to take this time to reconnect with you and share lots of updates, all while doing plant shop hopping in Chiang Mai Thailand to show you some interesting and beautiful plants!

I agree, I don't mind the background noise. Also, I love the full gamut of your tours, ranging from landmark botanical gardens to tiny plant shops; then we can enjoy the vast array of plant species worldwide, even if many of them never reach the market. And you asked about music - for sure music for the duration of the video is annoying, so careful and infrequent use of tunes might be in order, e.g. intro and outro; but if that adds to your editing burden, don't worry, no music is okay too.
Here’s a shocker. I’m not obsessive about plants but have subscribed and watch your videos as often as I can to support you in what you do. You are extremely relatable and come across generally as an all-round nice guy. But most of all, what keeps a not obsessive plant person like myself watching is your passion for plants, the 200% you put into what you do, and your willingness to openly share your successes as well as failures, which keeps it all real. 👍

Hi Sean, audio is sounding much better. I think music depends on the video. In todays video I very much enjoyed the music over the B roll of plant close-ups. Also, I enjoy when the music is paused during you’re speaking or doing voice over because it’s easier to understand what you’re saying. Hope this helps. Love your videos!

I got into kayaking lately! I've never been a huge fan of routine work out patterns. Nor is running outside is always safe. So is been really nice to get to spend time on a lake and get to learn about my neighborhood through the water!!

I actually like the volume at which you speak. I can hear you clearly which is not the case with some other Plant Tubers. It's Independence Day here so you had to fight with the fireworks a little. Just bought myself an Aglaonema Siam Aurora and a windowed Haworthia for a birthday present, nice to see them here. I like the videos where you go to different countries and show us how they use plants, there. Very entertaining.

I've started collecting caladiums, calatheas, pothos, aglaonemas, philodendrons and others in preparation for my 22nd wedding anniversary on September 8, 2023. I'm rearranging my garden for that purpose. Thank you for your informative videos.

Whoaaa thats a lot of flowers! Haha I dont know where to start. When you go to the plant markets there find the blooms that are displayed up front in full sun, those are usually sun-loving plants. My personal faves are fragrant gardenias!

VOLUME - Yours is NOT too loud. I am a bit hard of hearing and when the A.C. / fans are running or windows are open with loud street noise, etc.. I sometimes have trouble hearing vids.. Especially if I'm moving around apartment getting things done. One of the things I really like (among many) about your vids is I can hear/understand all you are saying. I presently have my volume up to 100% and am having a bit of trouble catching everything you are saying which is making it obvious to me that you have changed your settings a bit...Please revert back to what you were doing all along. "If it ain't broke - Don't fix it." If it's too loud for some they can simply turn down their individual volume....It ain't rocket science folks!.......MUSIC - If I want to be musically entertained I'll go to a Broadway N.Y.C. show or a concert at The Hollywood Bowl or some obnoxiously trendy club with loud blaring retro disco assaulting a mindless crowd of ostentatiously over dressed little twits with attitude that "just don't quit" (just sayin ;-) )..I'm watching vids. such as yours to FOCUS and absorb information the like of which you provide in abundance....Please keep up the good work and turning out the quality of vids you are already producing! BTW....Thanks again for what you are doing. ;-) - Los Angeles, Ca.

Music is amazing! But not too loud. Back in the day, I was in school radio (Yes, very professional xD) and they taught us a technique for music. I don't know if this is common knowledge, so maybe you already know, but in case it's of interest: you can make a "music bed" while someone is speaking. Basically put music under the footage so quiet that you can barely hear it (If u think it's quiet enough, tone it down even more, haha). Of course, nobody will actively listen to that. But you subconciously notice it while the person is speaking, which makes the footage feel more lively and not as "dry" (if that makes sense). And you can still hear ambient sounds. When there's a talking pause, music can fade louder to underline pictures (Edit: I see it's what you're already doing in parts). In the end, do what u like, your content is what we are here for!

I think if there is nice ambient noise (birds/water/gentle wind) there is no need for music, but if you aren’t talking and there is no zen background noise some music in the background is nice ❤

Congratulations on working with a TV crew and gaining more experience, Sean! Glad to see you have a new microphone as well, I hope this means clear audio from here on out. You did have a lot of mic issues in the past but that was just unfortunate and out of your control. For me personally, I like faint music as much as no music, normal crowd ambience not as much, but the thing I dislike the most is loud music on top of a loud and still very audible crowd (I think that's what you did in your Garden by the Bay video?). Anyways, love your energy in this video, it was fun seeing the succulents and caudiciforms
