Enjoyed your video friend !! You were really loaded up there in the beginning with all your gear plus the dog 😊 nice work in your editing, and great setup ! That’s a cool bow saw as well ! Subbed to the channel , take care !! 👍🏼🏕️
Thank you so much, my friend and welcome to the channel! I’m truly glad to have you here and thrilled that you liked the video! Thank you again, for watching and reaching out! Take care as well!!! 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
Thank you so much! We had an amazing time camping here! Anytime I can sleep in a hammock, I know it’s going be a good night of rest! I really appreciate you watching! Happy New Year!
Great video brother! Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this video! You have some great backpacking equipment as well. Awesome job and keep up the great work!🏕️
Thank you so much, my friend! It was such a fun trip! Oh man, a yorkie named “Chloe”!!! That has to be the cutest possible dog/name combo! Love it! Also, how’d your truck camping trip go the other weekend?!? Thank you for all the kind support, truly means a lot to me!
Thanks man, i really appreciate that! Can’t wait to see your hot tent video! Best advice i can give is to have more wood than you think you’ll need. Be ready to do some cutting (most precut bundles are too long to go in a tent stove) and be prepared to be addicted! Hot tent camping is amazing. Oh, and have a good, warm sleep system. Don’t rely on the stove to burn all night. They need fed about every hour. I like sleeping too much to get up every hour to feed the stove. Thanks again, bud!
Man, I forgot one of the things I wish I’d known when I first started! Get a titanium stove with the roll out titanium stove pipes or if you get a steel sectional stove pipe, make sure you buy the attachment that inverts the pipes and funnels any creosote into the stove and not down on the outside of the pipe. I smoked myself out of a few tents before I learned that. Hope that saves you some headache!
Do you generally solo camp? Or do you ever do it with friends, for all of that work for the set up It's always nice to have people enjoy it with for a night or two 👍🏻🇺🇲
Thank you so much! We had a lot of fun! I’ve taken that tarp/tent out multiple times and it’s been holding up great. I’ve had it in light snow but nothing wet and heavy. Thanks again for watching and reaching out!

I just recently found out that they make hot tents for hammocks and then I knew I wanted one. Then I saw you pull out and use your now I really want to get myself one! How do you like that stove? How’s it holding up?
I cannot think of a better night’s sleep than a hammock and a wood stove! I would highly recommend this set up. I’m a firm believer that you can lot go wrong with a Danchel Outdoor titanium wood stove. Definitely recommend, sir! Thank you for the support!
@bipolarkornbread2821 I'm glad to see multiple friendly comments from one person on a up and coming channel. Along with subscribing, liking, sharing, and watching as many ads as possible, commenting helps to bump up the algorithm. It's worth it for a good channel. Ps, that username of yours cracked me up 😂
Sorry, i know this comment doest pertain to this video, but I just realized where I had heard the name Fiona before. From the "kids" movie Shrek. Fiona ended up married to Shrek. Maybe I shouldn't know that information, but admittedly I enjoyed the Shrek movies 🤷🏼 Lol
Shrek is a great movie, no shame in that, brother! We named Fiona from the feminine Gaelic term for “white”, loosely translated to “white lady”. Also in French “Fille” which means “girl”.
I definitely appreciate your concern. I recommend always digging out to bare ground under a fire source. On most stoves, I would have dug that out to bare ground but the stove I’m using does a good job of keeping most of the heat off the bottom. Still though, it’s always better to put safety first and not risk anything.
“Who needs veggies anyway “ funny stuff ,😂😂 always enjoy your videos ,
Haha thanks brother!!! Always appreciate your support!

Man, this one was uber relaxing. Wish I could get my yorkie to drive as calmly as Fiona does with you. Chloe hates driving in the car!! 😂

@@oldsouthernpine Truck camp went great. Sooooo relaxing. The Ridgeline performed very well, had some heavy rain and wind and nary a drop inside.
That’s awesome to hear!!! Sounds like an amazing trip!
Awesome video!! Im getting ready to do my first hot tent camping video in a few weeks!! Any advice??

For the channel, I usually only solo camp but I do enjoy going on camping trips with small groups of friends.
Great Adventure. How has the Tegimen held up? I'm looking to get one but still undecided. Have you had it out in snow?

What kind of knife did you use to split wood?

Underneath that stove that’s dangerous
