- Join me in Los Cristianos Tenerife in July 2020 where I take a trip to Passarela Oasis Shopping Center and visit The Olive Garden to review their Sunday roast, the only problem is I'd had one too many the night before and have a massive hangover. It's hardly surprising as Tenerife has so many bars, restaurants and clubs while you are on your summer holiday, you just have to take advantage of all the food and drink.

I love the olive garden. Was in Los Christianos in June 2019. Had too many Alhambra one night and couldn't shift the hangover until I went to the olive garden and had the Full English extreme. Long live the olive garden.

The Olive Garden is one of my favourite places to eat. Their breakfasts are also fantastic. They are very accommodating, I have severe food allergies and it’s the one place that I really trust.

I'm probably the UK's least travelled resident (something wrong about flying. Can't put my finger on it. Oh, yeah. Crashing!) But I do like watching travel / food vlogs and getting my travels vicariously through other brave venturers! A Judith Chalmers for our times, MacMaster! Andrew needs to open up his palate though, very dull tastes.

Looks really good, we will definitely be trying Sunday lunch there when we are over in August...also saw sitting behind you was ‘Comedy Queen ‘ tribute act....must be the place to be seen. Lol.
I second everything you said about the Olive Garden. Food and service always 10 out of 10 and I’ve often had the Sunday lunch midweek.
That part of christianos, is the best, great bars, and restaurants, we always stay around that area, tenerife sur, aguamar, are descent self catering apartments on vicinity to stay in.
Castle Harbour is really nice too. Biggest pool in south Tenerife and great bar on site. Think you have to pay a euro or two a day for sun bedlounges though.
That looked delicious,on my list for when I get over,only ever had the breakfast which was really nice

OMG that roast dinner looked lush , and the cheesecake to die for , but Andy you have to have pouring cream on the cheesecake mmm .
We went to Pasarela Center last september (2019). Its was empty but did enjoy a few drinks on the roof

Great video, after knowing the roast`s were fresh, we will go there maybe in September, when we are hopefully there. Staying in PDLM, but will be going into Los Christianos for walks etc. x

Mac master, excellent information on what's open in tenerife this is really good to know as we are over on August,. Can you advise on what's needed to apply before travel to and from uk to tenerife at the airports.

Wasn't there not long an earthquake just off the coast of Tenerife? Saw some videos of the Sea coming right up the beach and people having to leave the beach due to it
How appropriate was this vlog, featuring a roast dinner. Some local gent gave our pub some money to help- feed us dead and dying folk, so I had a lovely roast beef dinner (with cauliflower & cheese!) this afternoon, and I would give it an 11 for the gesture, and 10 for the food 😛

No cabbage or stuffing balls on there though, it would have been a 10 if it was on, but when you took the gravy boat off the plate there was an empty space for cabbage and stuffing balls. Looked OK though.
No way is that a 10. Peas just don't belong on a Sunday dinner, and that gravy was watery, and wasn't appetizing at all.I can't give more than a 5/10, and I'm being generous here, because the desserts look good. 👍

Will definitely be looking out for this place when we come over in August. I am surprised that you didn’t knock a touch off your 10 for forgetting the cauliflower cheese though. It really grinds my gears when they miss something off my order lol.

I remember in 2013 when I went to TENERIFE after years of not going. I stopped at a bar that was doing al umbra for 1 Euro and dorado for 2. I had lunch and a few al. Umbria’s the next thing I knew I was napping on my couch for 4 hours.....that is the devils juice, I now pay 2 euros for dorada. Totally worth it, great beer

Hiya Lee! First time watching your Tenerife blogs and this roast dinner. Sorry but thick gravy is a must every time. And roasties a little less pale. Otherwise that looked good. Why not a roast dinner in the lovely sunshine outside. I’d have to choose either crunchie or walnut whip dessert

I've been in your predicament many, many times, hair of the dog has always worked for me 100%. That gravy though was proper shite, just like brown water. The rest of the roast didn't do much for me either.
that would be a lovely meal for me, those who say otherwise cant be hungry enough.

Lee you could have gone for a dip in all that gravy and used the Yorkshire pudding as a diving board I was disappointed with Andrew leaving his greens on the side of his plate.

That gravy was too runny for my liking and the carrots were too chunky. They also forgot your cauliflower cheese. You must of still been drunk to give it a 10. 🥴🍻🤪
yup, the gravy needed a bit of corn flour in. Is it just me who insists on beef gravy regardless of what meat ya have? The feng shui is all over the place, Look at the Yorkie just jabbed into the mashed tatty, trust me when it comes to Feng shui, im an expert, just like my crime solving 👍
