      The furniture you see on the street is not second hand. It is brand new made by the locals themselves. Yopu will see that in most city of Tanzania including Dar.

    It is very nice to have a person like you to do vlogs about Tanzania. When I say a person like you I mean someone who is down to earth meeting and greeting locals in their own language having unbias attitude to everyone. Many people that I know love you very much and are very intrigued with your vlogs. Keep up the good work and you are one special person in my book. Cheers!!!

    Yes... I remember.. Infact I was leaving in bara bara kumi Na nane... 18 Street... Where you started this journey... I left Tanga back to Oman in 1974...then Tanga was like one of the Germany towns.. I feel sorry when I watched the roads and building conditions now... In our time we were closely connected with Mombasa Kenya... It was known as East African Countries... A heaven on Earth... Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika.. 👍

      Thanks For Commenting, Its seems a lot of people left Tanga during the 70s, May i ask why?

    • @myl9499

      Oil discovery brought a lot of changes in the gulf states (Oman, UAE etc) during this time many of East African Omani Arabs went back to Oman. The coastal regions and islands of Tanzania and Kenya had the most of Omani Arabs.

    • @114chapters
      @114chapters 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InspireForTravel there is a rare video if you search hard enough you will see the reason why many people left Tanga for Oman. There was some kind of ethnic cleansing. The video was taken by Italians on their helicopter and you will see many people persecuted and slaughtered as long as they were Muslim because almost all of them wore the Islamic white garment. The sultan of Oman gave them asylum in his country that's why many left . I am not accusing or pointing fingers to local Tanzanians but this happened. My grandmother who passed 2 years ago she was around 8 years remembers the incident.

    Try to pass by tourist spots around Raskazone area (I am sure they will compensate you for your video coverage).
    While you were at Indian St, there was Blue Room Cafe that is famous for Indian snacks during breakfast/lunch and a stroll on Market Street (Food Palace, and many other food joints) all the way towards Swahili Street to German World War 1 memorial Cemetry, Tanga Institute (Goan club), Sikh Temple, and if you keep going onto School Street from Swahili Street you will get to see Aga Khan Complex (huge mosque building, houses, etc) and Hindu community centre, and grounds
