Thinking about it, Edmund really is doing the same thing to Brooke that she did to him during the Budapest storyline. She left him because he essentially went crazy. She is essentially losing her grip on reality and he knows that. Because she is not the pristine, wonderful, always together Brooke that he knows and loves, he's willing to just call into question her integrity and move on with Maria. On the other hand, she's hurting him in a place that hurts him the most...paternity issues. Aww, Brooke and Edmund, what did the writers do to your beautiful love story? I just wish StMaria wasn't anywhere near this storyline!
Between all the bed hopping among Brooke, Edmund, Maria, Dixie, Tad, Adam, etc, I'm just glad none of them had an STD. And they were somehow able to figure out who the parent of each kid was.
I think I finally got it where Brooke is concerned with Edmund and Tad. Brooke was in love with Tad. He went back to Dixie, then he died. She was in the midst of grief when she found out she was pregnant. Enter Edmund after Jamey was born. She found her other half with Edmund. Brooke loved Edmund in the same way her young self loved Mark Dalton. However, with the Budapest thing, she dumped him. She still loved him. Enter Tad from the grave. Just as she was forgiving Edmund, Tad showed up, was 'available', and all those old feelings for Tad came back to her. I tried to deny she was still in love with Tad, but looking back on the story, she essentially did love Tad. Edmund was the great love of her life, but the complication that was Tad, along with Jamey, caused her to take back up the grieving process of Tad's death/him dumping her. She should have stepped back, not been around Edmund nor Tad, and given herself time to heal from both men for awhile. Not hook back up with Tad right away. That wedding to Tad complicated matters greatly for all parties. Unfortunately, Maria came into the picture.
They should of paired Ava with someone else not Edmund. Tad should of stayed with Brooke. I didn’t like how they kept killing off Dixie and bringing her back from the dead. Jr was a mess because of that
@@audreygarza8344 I ended up liking Tad and Brooke's friendship, co parents, and the way he always protected Brooke. However, it was Edmund/Brooke for me.
OMG! You're not going to believe this, but I remember thinking that exact thing when I watched this scene back in 1994. I remember saying to myself that she's having a problem trying to cry convincingly here. She's making the faces and doing the voice, but there are no tears. It looked fake to me. However, Eva actually improved greatly with her acting as time went on. She became an excellent crier and a much better actress.

Exactly. I never ever liked Maria.
As Erica Kane would say, "St. Maria of Wildwind tending to patients in her pushup bra."
@@JessicaLynnGimeno LOL, love it!
Dixie tried to tell Maria that Edmund wasn't over Brooke butshe wouldn't listen while Maria was all in Tad and Dixie's relationship.

All soap operas are is sharing other people’s sloppy seconds, yuck
Unfortunately, you're right.
Brooke was pregnant with Tad's baby. She was inlove with Edmund and Tad

Eva La Rhu's acting was weak here. Poor Brooke :(

Daytime is the best training for any actor -
Eva was not that good in the early years of her AMC role -
