I'm so glad the video was helpful. If you search #zine on Instagram you will see a whole bunch of styles and types. This is a very junk journal collage type and if that is the type you want to make I'm glad that it helped, but if you like doing it another way I hope you let your own personal style shine though! Thanks so much for watching!
I think you don’t need to worry about copyright infringement. Old images are likely not to upset anyone living today, you are often just using part images, you are not using artwork directly from anyone like someone’s painting you found online, you are not selling it and you are making your own original artwork. People get so caught up in copyright issues that they forget to enjoy what they are crafting. As long as you are being respectful and mindful of where you are obtaining your images I can’t imagine it will upset anyone - so don’t just snag an image from someone’s website unless you know they are ok with it or you have read their terms. I would avoid those sources anyway. There are plenty of images lying around in crafter’s stashes meant to be used in scrap projects just like this!
I agree there are wonderful places to get images without ruffling feathers, but I like to show respect in videos and due diligence. Thanks for your comment. 😃
