I have found it useful to use audio for the reading of the geneaology, this way I could hear the pronunciations of the names instead of forcing my braid to produce the pronunciations.
Excellent break down. I'd recommend to everyone to look up the meaning of the names in the genealogy as well. It's very interesting.
So glad you explained the reason for going through the family heritage. It made it somewhat less grueling to read through it now that I understand [especially in this book of Chronicles] why it was necessary.
