- The time has finally come - almost - for the very first professionally recorded new generation Scania DC16 V8 engine sound mod for ETS2! Time for me to give you a first proper insight into the sound in raw ETS2 gameplay material. Just enjoy this episode in which we'll deliver 28 tons of wood chips from Innsbruck to Graz in Austria in this mighty Griffin, a R590 V8.

Since Zeemods seems to have abandoned ETS in favor of ATS and not making a good V8 sound, this was a must buy! going to try it out asap!

The engine sounds are great. But the blinker speed is slow. Will those issues be fixed?
That has nothing to do with the sound. And the new Scanias have exact the same "issue" in Reallife

That is an OD sign, for the new Overdrive gear of the new Scania gearboxes

Ich fahre sequentiell, also mit Schaltwippen, und so wie es der echte Scania auch machen würde
Alles klar.. werde ich mal testen.. hatte sequentiell schon mal ausprobiert aber das hatte irgendwie nicht gut funktioniert. Oder muss ich bei den Einstellungen noch etwas beachten?

Sounds amazing, one question though. How come there is no sound of the gears being engaged? On your old NG V8 sound there was a tshhh sound as gears were selected.
That's because the truck is equipped with the new Scania G33CM gearbox, and it doesn't make the legendary Opticruise sounds anymore.
@@Max2712 ah ok, that's a real shame because I loved that sound. Was it a new Super truck you recorded it from or an original NG?
The Super is only a new engine range. But if you mean the production date, then yes, it was a brand new Scania I recorded, built in May 2022
@@Max2712 i know its just a minor thing, but do you think it is possible to release 2 vesrion of the mod, one with the opticruise shifter and one with the g33cm, similar how you did with your l6 sound back then?

Hey, bei mir is der sound vom Blinker nicht so wie bei dir im video? Weist du woran das liegen könnte? Habe auch keine anderen Sound mods drinne
Der Sound gefällt mir aber das mit dem blinker is sehr komisch aber wenn das die neue next gen scania Reihe so hat dann ist es so. Nicht jeder lkw ist perfekt. Wird mir den trotzdem kaufen. Das mit dem blinker haben nicht alle scanias von der neuen Reihe. Vielleicht hattest du nur einen erwischt der diesen "defekt" hat. Aber was sollts Hauptsache du hattest Glück gehabt einen echten scania next gen v8 zu finden und den aufzunehmen. Weiter so.

@@Max2712 Bezogen auf das "Original" aus dem Spiel selbst. Das würde dann auch erklären, warum der Blinker des Scania, den ich letztens gesehen habe, langsamer blinkte, als sonst 😅
