It’s not only her performance but in this song, the studio and live version have production elements that totally interpret the pre-chorus/chorus differently, throwing the flow of the song completely off. It’s almost like a director screwing up the screenplay. Without the production, this acoustic version correctly reflects how the song was truly written, in my opinion.
