@XMan384 if it mentions to apply on another style then apply. If it says normal or it dies not say then base on normal. Otherwise it will base it on the style of the text where yiur insertion point is currently.

Either your table can not fit in the column wo move the while table to the next column, or, you have a section break which is splitting the table. Or, it could be something else. I can't really help unless i am able to see the file. If you are not able to find the reason, i suggest you remove the table, make sure everything is correct and then add the table again. The work you put in to try and solve this is going to teach you so many things and will improve your skills way more than just solving a paper . It is worth putting in the effort to resolve this.
Hi, sir, you mentioned that selecting all the text and clicking on clear formatting makes every thing of the same format, but I was solving another past paper and when I did so, three random lines in the body text were not becoming normal even after i tried clearing its formatting, so I had to manually do it, was it an error from my side or what, please help I have my exam in about 15 hours
Cant say for sure but i an say that this is something that you will probably not need to do for the exam as in the new papers the documents are preformated and dont come with mixed formating.

If you want to wrap text around a picture, click on the picture and on the top right of the picture you will see an icon. Click on it and select a text wrap. Tight is usually the one you will want.
Make sure words are not split means make sure the words are not hyphenated. So, if your words are being hyphenates when you word wrap then you need to disable hyphenation in Word. Open the Paragraph settings in word (in the home ribbon), select the tab "Line and Page Breaks". From there click the check box "Don't Hyphenate"

You will not be asked to apply custom borders for the Exam so need to worry about it.

How to wrap text.

If you get 1 line of a paragraph on the next page or collumn them move the entire paragraph down.
