Im beginning to find striper hunting to be some of my favorite spearfishing! I rewatch this video every so often and it gets me so pumped to get back to Lake Powell
To loud and slow for my liking. It’s frowned upon by a lot of people, I prefer not to judge other sportsmen on how they choose to enjoy the outdoors and harvest their food. So long as it’s not detrimental to the resource I don’t have a problem with it.
@@joshhancey3810 gun length is entirely determined by visibility here. I use guns from 60-90cm. A 70-80cm gun will be the most versatile for Utah. If you’re looking to buy something local check out VersaSpear.
Thanks. My first time trying out the narration/voice over. Not trying to be mean at all to the new guys, but showing their errors (and my own) to teach better hunting techniques. Also these guys are my friends that know it’s meant well and any criticism is to help them improve.

Amazing views. I've been going to Lake Powell my whole life but haven't really seen much of it from this angle. Fantastic.
Glad you enjoyed it. Sounds like you better take up Spearfishing and explore the underwater half of Lake Powell
Amazing video brother!👌 Keep ‘‘em coming. 🤙
Loved the video! 26 minutes and I left wanting more.
I totally forgot about the video I took on your gopro 😂
Good to hear. Was worried about it being too long.
Epic.

That was interesting and informative
Nice video Ryan, wish I was there. 🤙
do guys ever use scuba tanks, or is that not considered sporting?

Great video. Need to get down there on the next one. Would love to get some stripes on the 3 prong
For sure! 3 pronging stripers is a fun challenge.
Awesome! Amazing water. Just starting out here in Utah, what size of gun is the best for what we have around us?

Be nicer on your newbies if you post on TH-cam.

Let me just say, Ryan called me a dirt bag the other day and I took it as a compliment 😂
