But EU has the facilities, the equipment, doesn't get their barracks bombed during the entire training and has more forces with somewhat recent combat experience than we'd like to have. So training Ukrainian soldiers there, with the equipment they'll end up using, makes a lot of sense.
What about Contingent forces from EU countries which were sent in both Iraq and Afghanistan? plus, these EU countries are in NATO and they have quite an eventful annual training exercises.
