      @@CarmeloRagusa-w7tfive weeks is absolutely a joke. Sure motivation does matter but that’s not going to help you set up a proper hasty ambush. Hide from drones or assault an objective as part of a combined arms unit.
      It’s not enough time and it speaks volumes about their desperation for new replacements.

      It goes both way. Real combat experience is important, plenty of lessons to learn from it. But EU has the facilities, the equipment, doesn't get their barracks bombed during the entire training and has more forces with somewhat recent combat experience than we'd like to have. So training Ukrainian soldiers there, with the equipment they'll end up using, makes a lot of sense.

    I look at both sides and the standard of the Ukrainian Citizen Volunteer Soldier as seen here and the standard of the Russian Conscript and the standard of the Russian contracted soldier and the standard of the Foreign Russian Mercanaries and it really is like TOLKIEN.

    We saw the effect of British training in the (1) 2023 counter offensive where Ukraine could not cross the first layer of the Survokin line and (2) the hair brained Kursk operation, where Ukrainians are pinned, and losing more in Donbass.

    For peace to come, especially in Europe, it is necessary for the U.S. to stop interfering in the interests and politics of other countries, to stop pursuing colonial-dictatorial policies. They must withdraw the occupying troops that have been in Europe and beyond since World War II.
