I love your videos, I tend to watch them thinking outside the toy industry world, and how many of your experiences work for any kind of job experience or passion, thanks for the great content!
As a recent subscriber, I haven't seen many of your videos, but this one had me glued from start to finish. What a goldmine, and I loved your reactions. Thanks for taking me on this journey. I feel like a kid again living the dream.
@@Valaverse Rodan is the hardest one to get mint in the box. I still haven’t got it. Hard to spend that kinda money for a puppet. Patience of course is key to any collection. Congrats on the pickups hopefully this guy’s kid later in life don’t hate you 😆
My brothers and I each got a Shogun Warrior for Christmas in the late 70s. I got Raydeen, my younger brothers got Gaiking and Mazinga. Those things held up forever, other than eventually losing missiles, etc. This is certainly a trip down memory lane! I still have a lot of Joes and Star Wars from back then.
The Shoguns were some of my favorites. Never had the Godzilla. If I remember right the first 4 released were “Mazinga” (Great Mazinger. For some reason we never got Mazinger Z), “Dragun” (Shin Getter Dragon. Another where we got the sequel character and never Getter Robo) Gaiking (Gaiking) and Reideen (personal favorite). I can’t believe those gorgeous boxes.
I lost my Zap to an undertow at Corpus Christi Beach. He fell off the boat when I was getting caught in the undertow being sucked under and out to sea. One of the only figures I lost on the battle field. And the Joe tank driver is Stealer. Congratulations on the collection Bobby
“YEAAAAAHHHH!!!!” 😂 nice find, Bobby! That is an immaculate collection. The toy gods smile upon thee. Rejoice! Love seeing grown men turn into children filled with joy.
That was an hour we'll spent! Thanks for the trip down memory lane dude. Great video. It's so cool to see you so invested. I buy valaverse because I think it's cool. Great to see the creator in this light. You really love this. Awesome
100% agree with you on grading. I collect because I like these toys, not because of monetary value. Just remembering the fun of having them as a kid is what it’s about. To me anyway
My friend had the Godizilla back in the day and we played with it and was used a lot. Brings back memories from my childhood. I did come across a Two Pack Empire strikes Back Bounty hunters at Ross for very low cost. Great toys you find from people. Your Lucky Bobby to get this stuff in such great condition 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Amazing Bobby , an incredible pick up you’ve just acquired in 1 purchase what would take years to collect in one fowl swoop 🤩… All amazing especially those boxes congratulations 🥂
@valaverse Wow, that was some collection! I can only imagine how much you spent and how much all of that is worth! There were some amazing pieces in there! I had to watch this in two sittings. I watched everything up until the Joe stuff, then stopped to walk my dog, and then came back and finished the rest of the video. The Tie Fighters (all versions) are such amazing vehicles! Aside from the Slave 1 (never calling it Fire Spray Gunship) the Tie Fighters were the best! Also loved the Speeder Bikes! My Joe’s saw a lot of action when I was a kid, so they all have massive paint wear, or broken thumbs/crotches/cracked chest pieces, or broken O-Rings. Only my figures from like the late 90’s and beyond are in good condition. And yes it was Zartan whose original file card got in trouble, because they listed him as, “A paranoid schizophrenic with multiple personalities”. Zartan was always my favorite! You asked (in a broad term), “Who doesn’t love Godzilla”? Well, I don’t love Godzilla! I find his movies boring and unentertaining. I don’t like most of the designs or other monsters he faces. I actually was hoping that when they did Kong vs Godzilla that Kong would kill Godzilla, but those movies were terrible for more than just Godzilla! I do like King Kong though! I should go through all my old toys, and see what I can sell. Most of it is probably junk, because of how worn out they are, but for the stuff in decent or better condition I should see about selling them, and only keep the figures that really hold meaning! I have so many different lines that I’ve collected over the years I wouldn’t even know where to begin!
The “thundercats” thing: is a daggit named Muffit from the OG Battlestar Galactica. Check the tail: it commonly breaks off. You should see 3 “meatballs”
I just started collecting 3.75 Star Wars on October 10th. I knew it was going to cost me a few thousand but I overspent on my budget in about a month. It's blowing my mind how much I spent in a month....staggering but I console myself that almost 90% of what I bought I got for around 40% of the price that it should be. Very few had boxes and some are incomplete but I know I will enjoy the time fixing, cleaning and casting pieces that will fix them all up.
I feel like that Cobra Commander was just a plant to spice up the ending. Or maybe just a clever edit since the Hiss Tank Driver was still visible in the box when you pull out the Cobra Commander baggie but you had already pulled it out of there and put it on the table around the 55:15 min mark.
Fantastic. Enjoy your purchase. Really great, things don’t come along like that very often. 🤩 (Secret Galaxy Dan Larson knows all about Mantech, seems to be a running joke there).
I have seen people talking about the Godzilla tail, 2 different versions, one with the spine ridges on it, the other without. The one with the ridges is supposed to be a rarer and more valuable one. I have one I got from a garage sale when I was a kid (non-ridge tail) flame tongue lever eventually broke, but it is still in good condition. (Be careful of the shooting fist, mine will shoot off if you bump the arm too hard, lol)
I want you to make a night landing craft for valavers cmon damn it Bobby. lol I think it is so cool that you feature other companies and appreciate where they did good!! happy holidays Bobby
"Yay! We got training balls, chin guns, veins" just sounded funny together, what a great collection, not many people who took care of their stuff like that
Talking about going down memory lane. Wow. Everything is so shiny and clean. Even the broken cockpit for the skystriker is so clear. I scrubbed the hell out of mine when it came out my parents basement to get it half as clear as that one. I could talk about all of these toys there so nice. I’m stoked for you to get upgrades of toys you have. The Whale pulls on my heart strings. I gave mine to my cousin. All good though. Most of my straight arm Joes have broken thumbs or broken crotch pieces. I could’ve watched another hour of this. Thanks for sharing these dope toys and have a good day sir.
Xmas came early for Bobby! Very nice collection. I had some of those same toys as a kid, so it's kinda nice going down memory lane! And yes, sometimes I miss a few of those toys.
That ring with gin at 49: 48 is from the Sears jeep. Along with 2 orange traffic cones. I just sold mine 2 months ago. Ad showed flash rock n roll and cobra commander
Holy sh@t….!!! 😮 how are they not dusty or anything… 🤯 when we were kids playing with those we half destroyed them. My parents didn’t even give us boxes half the time at Christmas.
I'm curious but does the vintage joes lose a lot of value when U replace the o rings mean technically it not 100% vintage if U have 2 replace the rings right? The reason I bet this kid had such good cared toys is probably BC he had so many had no time to destroy em. lol Man Ryan from TOY Fed is gonna b so jelly.hahhahhaahaha
What an awesome pickup!!! So cool to see everything in such great condition. Off subject but what year is that NIKE box? If it’s JORDAN earlier years, shoe heads might find it rare.
That uzi you found looks like a G.I. Joe Battle Pack I Uzi to me. Battle Pack I came with two (Snake Eyes and Steeler) Great collection! If you get a set of Crimson Twins and you'd like to help a guy out let me know.
Sorry, I've suspected this for a minute...but your boxes and some are repro. Just by the gloss...fake. Way to perfect one after the other simply does not exist. I have been collecting for 20 years total with Cloud City Tom Derby experience and more... Sorry, repro boxes.😅
@ my eyes glazed over at the Godzilla box. I had one but I’ve never seen the box. I’m a huge fan of the secret wars. But that training ball holy shit!!!!!!
@ absolutely insane. I love that some people were so ocd with there toys to keep them in such great shape. It also lets you know there still out there you just gotta have a little luck and know a guy that knows a guy
Did you check for the black plastic piece that holds the Grand Vizier screen up out of the way on the Star Destroyer? It clips to the ceiling near the front. Side note: there are also foot pegs somewhere up there to hang figures upside down from. Source: I really wanted to like this more when I had one.
Great find! I gotta ask who made that river table!? I’ve seen one similar that John Malecki made on his channel for Black Rifle Coffee. Thats a awesome table you have there!
Zartan was the schizophrenic file card. Great video! I had, emphasis on had, all this stuff. I would love to go back to 1982-1985. Not to collect, but to play!
They did release godzilla but again he is and can be more expensive than the original. They have mini blind boxes of him in all different colors .are great for 15$
9:10 reminds me of you Pandora cosplayer 😏 10:30 had some of the *_BEST_* toy commercials. 🗣 tha look! Tha Feel! The SOUND!! SO REALLL!!! 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 *_ENTERTECH!!!!_*
My guess is he lost the seeker ball but kept the original arm, then asked Kenner for a replacement part. Otherwise, it would be weird that he has the ball but not the landing struts. Also, I didn’t see a radar dish.
No child kept their toys this immaculate and in near mint condition. This seems like it was pieced together as a collection over the years. Kids when they get toys as presents usually rip into the boxes. People tape wrapping paper onto the package and when you removed them, they usually ripped part of the packaging.
What is with that whale it's still holds up and looks bad ass. This was made in the damn 80s that's crazy how cool it still is. My absolute favorite vehicle ever. And it floats🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am going to ask you did you get the emperor with his eyes looking to the right I think it was. Cause when I had vintage I had two versions and one the eyes looked off to the right and the other the eyes looked straight. Not sure if that version was the mail away version.
Good thing guys son played with figures and not the heavy hitters like the whale hover craft. Nobody ever twlks about the cobra harrier with pilot. The wings would rotate vertical. Jet was dark blue with a grey drone with missle launcher. I know cause i once had it. Itcwas a 2 person cockpit aswell with its oen fighter jet pilot.
Who's watching the whole video!? How much do you think it’s worth?
I love your videos, I tend to watch them thinking outside the toy industry world, and how many of your experiences work for any kind of job experience or passion, thanks for the great content!
Priceless
I’m thinking… priceless.
All toys are priceless just a matter of how much to let go of them...
Whole video? Skip to @38:10 for the good part. Ha ha.
Just giving the Star Wars guys a hard time.
As a recent subscriber, I haven't seen many of your videos, but this one had me glued from start to finish. What a goldmine, and I loved your reactions. Thanks for taking me on this journey. I feel like a kid again living the dream.
The Shogun Warriors is my favorite line I never had when I was a kid. It was before my time. Definitely hold on to those. You won’t regret it buddy.
I plan to! THey look amazing!

That Godzilla box is 6 years older than me and in way better shape 😂😂😂
What a great haul! If you're a collector, this should put a smile on your face!
The little robot-bear is Muffit from the original Battlestar Galactica.
I was looking for this comment
Man i would die coming across a collection like this. Those shogun warriors are a pipe dream for me

Wow the excitement is intoxicating! Really happy for you Bobby
Thanks!
Hope you enjoy the video

What a fun video to watch and Bobby’s reaction at the end was priceless.
This is my childhood revisited but on steroids!!!
Congrats on everything, especially the MMCC!!!
Whomever owned this collection before probably works in a museum today. Thanks for sharing!
Seeing the Falcon box made from corrugated cardboard is trip; Hasbro and Kenner used poster board for all the Joe and Star Wars('90s) stuff I had.
What an amazing haul which has left me breathless. This entire collection is certainly priceless. Way to go!
Keep winning in life!
Absolutely loved the excitement on that Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander Pull. That is amazing! Congrats!
Amazing and fun video! A true collectors haul!
What an awesome collection. That kid must have been on the spectrum to take such good care of his toys.
The vintage Star Wars boxes are in remarkable condition. What a spectacular haul.
It’s priceless! It’s great to see you and others happy
Thanks for commenting!
What an awesome pickup man … great collection.
Hey edd, have a great week
What a ending!! You had me with the Megatron but wow all the other finds and those boxes were worth it
Great collection. That Megatron is stunning. Super jealous.
Awesome video. I love the old brochures as well.

Bobby has Hasbro/Kenner stuff and he's not lighting it on fire! Heads are exploding all over the Internet lol
Zartan was the schizophrenic file card. Great video! I had, emphasis on had, all this stuff. I would love to go back to 1982-1985. Not to collect, but to play!
in 50 years when my kids find the pink vanguard at a garage sale it will have the same vibes as this.
I wish someone would rerelease the shogun Godzilla and the old giant kenner alien
They did release godzilla but again he is and can be more expensive than the original. They have mini blind boxes of him in all different colors .are great for 15$

Hey Mr. Vala,on the shelf behind you is that your wasp raider vehicle prototype I saw in a post somewhere recently?
