@littlegiant18794 - haha you do have a point there! we worked her well, we didn't want to over work her though being such an icon and historical item. she had 6 on but they were Vintage coaches so the equivalent of 3 - 4 MK1's. Yes we did, he is the chap with the moustache on the left speaking to the fireman.

@040alfredjudy I can confirm that is incorrect. We had her at the GCRN before hand and were supervised by a Minder on every occasion, including disposal etc. We heard from the support group that she had been thrashed at BWR.

She truly is amazing to fire, rare for a great western loco. Looks like you worked her hard, how many coaches did she have on? And did you have a minder on board?

@funkymonkeyfound Good, I heard at the BWR they took her up the Bank with the doors wide open, and at the end of the weekend she had leaking tubes. At least your fireman closed the doors for part of it. Though I see no minder...

Too bad this engine no longer does runs. It's a prime example of how beautiful the Great Western Railway's steam engines are and I think you can only witness the true beauty of them is out on the tracks, running.

Can anybody tell me the gradient of the climb?
