@@goodfella8143 yup. He's still growing. People expect too much too soon. I get Tayshun prince vibes from him, but with potentially more tools in his bag.
Weaver truly values character and work ethic. Cade, Ivey, Duren, Ausar all strike me as hard workers. Stew is grinding and improving his game each year. These boys are gonna shock the world one day just like the 04 squad
Smart pick by Weaver, this young man's jumpshot is truly developing nicely as advertised. Ball handling looks good and I'm also very impressed with the work ethic and coachability.
@@arc7xangel897 I don't think that's a fair take on his first draft. It was covid and teams couldn't go through the normal process of evaluating players. Regardless, I think he made the best picks he could. He went into the draft with only one pick and somehow managed to get 3 first rounders. That's good in and of itself. Bey is a nice player and good value for being the 19th pick. He showed flashes but just wasn't as consistent as we needed. He was getting close to extension time but at this point in the rebuild they didn't think he was worth committing a big contract too. Thus he was traded. But it was a fine pick overall. Stewart was also good value at 16th, fans undervalue the hell out of him. He's a hard nosed player with a developing offensive game, he molding himself into a stretch 4 and provides defensive versatile. The Celtics literally have been calling and asking for him. If a playoff team sees his value, then why don't Piston fans? Killian is really the only "miss" but he was a swing at upside. Most scouts had him very high, even higher than Haliburton. If he's a bust then it is what it is, bust are in every draft. But I can't throw Troy under the bus for that 2020 draft. It was his first year in the front office, he did the best he could.
@@arc7xangel897that’s a lie bruh his first class was Killian, Beef Stew nd Bey where did he miss at Killian is a playmaking guard piston never put shooting around him to unlock his game he has dat now so will see this yr Beef Stew continues to keep developing nd Bey was the 19th pick who he flipped for James wiseman
Ausar is super quick off the floor and just bouncy as hell. He's also a skilled ball-handler with elite burst to the rim. He's a creative finisher who can score. Excited to follow this young man in the league.
@@Gilmore304 you just wanna argue like a female bro I was just pointing out the difference between them after watching both of them train, and it matters cause one shoots a lot better than the other
It absolutely does as a Pistons fan I'm loving it. I guess when you're as fast as Amen and the ball is always in your hands your shot is an after thought. Where Ausar being the good twin has had to play off ball and be ready with a clean jumper at all times.
When a player messes up and is mad about it and wants to get it perfect is what I love too see your not going to get everything perfect but the hard work shows in the real games I also see his form is getting better and his defense is nasty my pistons young core is full off dogs even the bench with stew cause I’m starting asur day 1 with Cade ivey n Duran if I’m the coach they need experience that’s it and it’s up after that

Ausar works extremely hard, one of the hardest workers I’ve seen.

Some guy hate to practice they only want to play. You can tell by year 3 in the league who does n who doesn't.

Ausar is killin' it. A superstar in the making.
That he is
I can see why Kevin Ollie was a frontrunner for the Pistons HC he seems like a real good players coach.
Ausar and Amen finna go down as OTE legends 😈🔐

made history.
Special kid. Very respectful and most of all coachable!🙏🏾
These boys are getting the proper training. KO is a respected coach and former nba player.
Yeah should have been on piston’s coaching staff for sure this year
Good luck, Ausar! We will always support you from now on. From Pistons family ❤💯

It is.
Well I'll say 1 thing ' that he's coachable
FYI Coach Ollie was being considered for Pistons head coach.
so what's going on with the Bewley twins?
when he started dribbling i barely saw the ball smh
Bro was MOVING
can he play the three?
I think that’s where he will get the most time with Cade and Jaden on the floor with him. I hope he can run the 3
Yes for sure he’s so versatile- can shoot or slash on offense and is a lockdown defender
He’s naturally a better fit for the three by year two and three he will play sg more
All those mess ups gonna be cleaned up by year 2
