@@unclebearcat8846 It is a blessing. I listened to that cd for 5 years, and over the years the scratches built up and it got worse and worse. It sometimes skipped songs, sometimes skipped parts of songs, and as time went on the poor CD started to die. Then it wouldnt play at all, and I was lost because I couldnt make a new CD because my computer had been wiped and the HQ youtube vids had been taken down. There is nothing more beautiful than listening to this music while driving a Datsun 240z (japanese sports car) down winding roads and just gunning it around corners. I swear to God this is bringing back parts of my teenage years that were pure bliss. Thank you so much dude.

NORIKI" was formed by Soichi NORIKI (key) with Masayoshi IMAIZUMI (ds), Haruo SAKAI (sax), Toru TATSUKI (g), Ryuji HISASUE (b), Hirotsugu NAKAI (g) and others. Their second album "DREAM CRUISE" released in 1984 is now available on CD with the latest remastering in 2021 exclusively at Tower Records.
Soichi NORIKI's career has included playing keyboards in prestigious groups such as Sadao Watanabe, Terumasa Hino, George Kawaguchi, and Toshiyuki Honda.
He has also participated in Tsunehide Matsuki's What Is HIP? and Mariya Takeuchi's works. He also participated as a keyboard player in Tatsuro Yamashita's live tour, and played on Tatsuro Yamashita's live album masterpiece "JOY".
He also participated in the recordings of various other artists such as Yasuko Agawa, Yutaka Ozaki, Keiko Lee, and Michiko Takada.
He has also worked on film music, including Yoshimitsu Morita's "Kitchen" (1989).
This second album is a masterpiece of Japanese urban mellow fusion by Soichi NORIKI, who continues his energetic activities to this day, under the name of his own leader group "NORIKI.
The album includes the urban fusion "NIGHT LIGHTS" featuring Yurie Kokubu on vocals, the light and mellow "YOU CAN MAKE IT", "ON THE STREET", "EASY WAY" and other fine tracks. Susumu Kazuhara (tp), Jake H. Concepcion (sax), and Nov Saito (perc) also participate as guests.
