How to use Gutta Percha Solvent | Waldent

Waldent Gutta-Solv is a softening solution used for removing gutta percha at the time of root canal retreatment. It can also be used for removing all types of root canal filling materials including Zinc Oxide -Eugenol Cement or as a cleaner for endodontic instruments. It is less volatile as compared to chloroform / Trichloroethylene. Gutta - Solv is based on natural substances and therefore it does not cause irritation to oral mucosa.

Perhaps more flexible files could be used in the treatment, there is plenty of apical transportation. A new acrylic block is displayed at the end of the video, with no transportation evident.

How long it took to remove the whole obturated gutta percha in the video..?

After putiing 2-3 Drops of Waldent Gutta Percha Solvent , It took 4-5 minutes.
