Love the Stranger, Fatherless, and Widow - Sept 22, 2024

We need to make God's priorities our priorities. God doesn't care about the newest tech or fancy carpet or swanky buildings. He prioritizes those who can't look after themselves and commands us to do likewise.
Deut 10:18 - God executes judgment for the fatherless, widow, and loves the stranger, I'm giving them food and clothing.
Deut 26:12 - 3rd year tithes to go to the levites, stranger, fatherless and widow that they may eat within thy gates and be filled.
Job 22:9-10 - consequence upon those who send the widows away empty thar snares will be round about you and sudden fear troubling you.
Ps 82 - we are commanded to defend the poor and fatherless and to do justice to the afflicted and needy.
