I hope this makes sense but what I like this band is they are very... easy listening. They are the musical embodiment of sunshine, good nostalgia and this... innocent joy. I love rock but it's really nice to just take a step back and listen to something soft and have this sudden sense wash over me that instantly puts me at ease.
If I could make a suggestion - get a DAW and DI the guitars so all those channels (mics, etc) can be sent to individual channels. Find a friend doing sound stuff at university who can help do the post processing. It will help clear up the bass and drums so they are more clear. The bass player has a great high register voice (which means it is weak when mic'd and needs post processing to make more clear - she has a great voice and that worked really well just volume too low). Something to think about as your music has a great feel and the quality is already pretty good. These simple changes will take it a step up. Nothing to do with playing skill, more the post production editing / mixing to clean the sounds of each item up.
